I love this because you can use dry cloths to sweep and then you can use the wet cloths to mop afterwards. You don't have to have two separate cleaning tools, like a broom and a mop. It's just one! These clean well and I am happy with them. The quality is good as well.

What changed with this mop/cloths. The four corner cloth grippers are so flimsy the cloths will not stay in place, particularly the wet cloths. The one I had many years ago held the cloths much better. It takes 2 wet cloths to clean a small bathroom floor because the cloths keep falling off. The dry cloths don't pick up dirt like they use to ok for dusting but not to really clean a floor.

I bought this when I moved out into my first apartment! It was easy enough to use for a quick mopping around the space. I would use it every few days just to insure the floors were always clean. It is not to be used for a deep clean, but is perfect for a quick floor mopping!

But truthfully, there's nothing wrong with getting a pad for your mop that can easily be affixed by sticking it in the holes and then removing it simply and replacing it with a brand new one. This gives you assurances that you have a clean sweep/mopping each time! I love that. When I use my mop, it gets dirty over time. The replaceable covers on this really make a difference and give me the comfort as well as peace of mind. If only these would stay a little wetter for longer, that's really my only reservation - because what gives a mop staying power is that you can continually douse it in water and it will still keep things clean. If this piece of covering was self-cleaning and self-wetting, it'd be golden!!

I got the starter kit to see if Swiffer could suit my needs. The dry pads worked well for my laminate wood floors when used with a spray-on cleaner. I was using a synthetic fiber dry mop but I hated washing it every time. The throw away pads are preferable. The wet pads cleaned my vinyl flooring nicely but oh, the smell! Too much, too strong, too lingering. It took a day to air out. I won't be using the wet ones.

Although the product may be what I "needed"- what I don't need is to spend money constantly replacing the sweepers because it fails to hold the cloths! It is so frustrating. URGH!!! I'm just about ready to go back to using a regular mop and bucket it's cheaper than replacing these sweepers. The last one I purchased (approximately 1 month ago) has already lost its grip and I haven't used it more than three times! Did I say it already? URGH!!!! The pads can be flipped, so you can clean quite a bit of surface before needing to change it. You get a hands and knees clean without the work or pain!
