When listen to music I would suggest switch it to front only as it seem to sound better. This can be done in smart things app. Syncs to TV great and no issues with setup. This is a great system. I had doubts but I messed with sound and setting I am happy with this it's great. Side speakers require plugs little bit on a con but I had outlets so it works for me.

Although it's a little pricey,i love the 11 channels that you get and how it makes the entire room sound like you're involved in the movie. with the subwoofer, you can feel the jets as you're watching top gun rumble your seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a night and day difference going from an older soundbar that was included for free with my TV purchase years ago, and now the Samsung Flagship Q990. The sound is so crisp that I no longer need to crank the volume or turn on subtitles to understand the dialog. I can actually feel a subtle base rumble from the sub (it's still set at 0) when it's just ambiance noise, and it really kicks during loud parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q990D Soundbar is connected to my Samsung QN90D85 tv in the living-room of my condo. The Q-Symphony function makes this soundbar sound amazing. It also has an adaptive sound function to adjust the sound for your particular living space. The sub-woofer and rear speakers are connected by blue tooth so running wires was not required. A little pricey but worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After spending a few weeks with the Samsung Q990D, I can confidently say this soundbar pushes home theater sound to impressive new heights — though not without some familiar echoes from its predecessor. What immediately stands out is the sheer scale and clarity. The 11.1.4 channel setup with true wireless rear speakers and subwoofer creates an incredibly immersive surround sound experience. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X content really shine here. Sounds feel like they come from all around and even above you, which transforms movie nights completely. Dialogue clarity is excellent — voices stay crisp even during action-packed sequences. Bass is deep and punchy but tight, without overwhelming the room. Music playback is surprisingly balanced as well, making this soundbar versatile beyond movies and TV.

I just thought to my self how bad can it be. The answer is None at all. To my ears everything is AMAZING! I never imagined this sound bar to be so Good. Love the Volume, it doesn't seem to gap no matter how loud I put it. I love that because others say its volume keeps getting louder but it just stops gaining volume like 8 volume levels ago. This is an amazing sound bar system. I love it. Makes me want to try their TVs as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The system itself is very nice looking. It looks premium for sure. Also, when it's working correctly, the sound is amazing. You get full cinema sound. But then....it can change on its own, and suddenly all the sound stays loud, but the voices in the audio almost completely vanish. And figuring out how to fix it is near impossible - it's fumbling around trying to find the right setting. It might have to do with the TV it's connected to (mine is the QN90D). But it's extremely frustrating to sit down to watch something and suddenly all you hear is the background music but absolutely no voices. I didn't even know something could separate out audio like that. There isn't much of a guide included with the system, so it's just blindly playing around with settings on this and on the tv until, suddenly, it just starts working. It has something to do with the Symphony mode I think - but I don't know. So while I really love the sound that comes from this system, this little quirk is extremely obnoxious, especially when you just want to sit down and watch something but then have to spend 15 minutes poking through settings to fix it. In the end I just turned off the Symphony thing and just run it normal, but then the audio isn't as amazing. So yeah, I want to really love this, but I just really come off more irritated by it than enjoying it. Oh, but rear speakers connect easily without much problems, so....small plus.

I am not always a fan of some of their music selections. So, I just play my own personal orchestra over the the sound system as loud as I want to in our living room. Depending on my stress levels and how much I feel like implementing to my offspring to "attempt showing interest" in what other people enjoy, also. This, uh..., ya know..., helps them to be less self centered and more open-minded to the world around them. It brings me so much peace (you have no idea). Thank you so much!
