NICE COMPACT SIZE AND POWER

I ordered this item on line and received it about a week later . the packaging was in good shape no dents or gouges . after prepping ,adding fuel and pressing the start button . it started with just a few cranks. because of the automatic choke warmed up and ran smooth. p.s. i will be adding the high altitude kit to add a little better fuel economy

Great so far

I ungraded my electric service to include a transfer box and needed a 240v generator. This item looks great! Easy set up (oil, gas, wheel kit etc) and it started right up with the push button and remote. The real test will be when I lose power again.

Good backup for food storage power

I picked up one of these to keep the freezer and fridge running during the rare power outage that lasts more than a few hours, I hope to get several years of use out of it. I picked this one because of the small size and dual fuel options not to forget the remote start options as well.

Great Value Generator

I wanted a solid generator~ 5000w dual fuel with electric start and this fit all the criteria. Additional bonus is remote start and relatively small footprint. It started without issues and has been running for an hour. Just in time for hurricane season.

Easy assembly

I just received this yesterday, assembled and started the break-in process. More compact than I thought. Hardest part is adding the oil. The funnel was helpful but could be improved. Started easily, even with pull start. The electric start was major reason for purchase. My wife can easily set this up and start if I'm not available. Also much quieter than we thought too. So far, so good

Nice product and well built

Bought the 9500 and the 5300 watt units. Both appear to be well built. He smaller unit came in with slight frame damage but not enough I want to deal with it. Both units have a little trouble starting on LP. I’m at 3300’ so maybe altitude is the issue. Takes each 3 start attempts before running and usually get a backfire. Haven’t tried gasoline yet.

Hit the sweet spot for a portable generator

Easy assembly and start up only took about 20 minutes. Started right up, and runs like a champ. Has all the features I was looking for; Dual fuel, 240 volt output, a 30 amp NEMA L14-30 4 wire plug receptacle to connect the generator to the house breaker box via a standard transfer switch and cable, plus electric start to boot. Running off propane was my biggest concern... I've had problems in the past with gasoline generators gumming up from fuel going bad, but propane basically will last indefinitely. I keep 4 full tanks ready to go when I need them, and never stress about the fuel. The generator came with everything needed to get going, including the regulator and hose to connect to a standard propane tank.

Most features for the money, by far!

I shopped around for quite a while and prices do vary with retailers. Regardless, no other generator could touch the features of the wGen with the dual fuel and remote start. I’m using it for a whole house partial cutover box. Be careful if ordering a separate wheel kit, that you order the correct one, and print out assembly instructions for the wheel kit before it arrives.

Very happy with the purchase!

We bought this after a storm where we were without power for 48 hours. Great power for the price! The setup was minor and intuitive and from the time we got home until we had it running (using propane) was about an hour. It powered multiple refrigerator/freezers as well as our garage door, internet, security system, and fans, allowing us to stay in our home and preserve a great deal of meat.
