I ordered a size 6/7 for my 7 year old and it fits perfectly. He is tall for his age and it still fits great. The royal blue details on this mostly black jacket make it stand out and look really sharp. The chest area is normal fleece while the rest is a waffle knit fleece material seemingly providing extra warmth. Overall I am happy and impressed with this jacket. You can usually depend on Lands End being reliable. I would purchase others for my 3 other kids.

Received a boys size 10/12 jacket, my 9 yo son wanted a light weight but comfortable jacket to wear for school and this Lands End product is perfect! My son says it's a 5 out 5 stars!! The jacket is definitely lightweight enough for giving flexibility while still being comfortable. It's durable and washer friendly. My son loves all the pockets so he can carry extras with him to school.

This is a very nice lightweight fleece jacket. The color and style were really nice. The fleece was soft and not too thick. My daughter said it was cozy and kept her warm. I originally ordered for my son, but my daughter wanted to wear it so it is definitely gender neutral. Fit true to size as it was a little big on my 9 year old daughter who usually wears an 8/10. Only negative is that the jacket doesn’t have a hood!

My son loves this fleece zip up. The fabric is so soft , lightweight, and easy to wash. Not to mention my little guy is absolutely obsessed with the color, it matches perfectly with his school shoes. This is the perfect zip up for school or playing outside.

This is a really nice jacket for kids. It is super soft, made of high quality, and a style that my own son was excited to wear. I love the blue/black color combo. It is lightweight yet warm enough to wear on a chilly day. I highly recommend this jacket!

My son loves his new jacket! It has both of his two favorite colors and it’s keeps him really nice and warm on these cold morning! The zipper is easy for him use on his own especially when he is at school. Also the colors make it easier for him to find his jacket at school and easier for me to spot him while at the park!

This is a great jacket for comfortable and casual play times for children. We have found this jacket to be great for fall, and hopefully early winter, weather. I recommend it for purchase for parents that want to find an affordable and dependable jacket for their children.

Perfect for fall! Light weight and great quality. It’s true to size. It’s longer than most jackets, so it does a great job covering back when my sons sitting down. Love the color combinations. Blue is my sons favorite color. So we went with blue. The different textures are nice too.

When it comes to fleece, I have a love/hate relationship. There are some fleece fabrics that have an "off" feel to them that is like nails on a chalkboard to me. This is NOT this fleece. Thankfully. The fleece quality is great, the brilliant blue is very bright. One thing I didn't realize from the stock picture is how pronounced the grid pattern is. It is not subtle. As for fit, I have two sons who wear the same size. Son A is a slimmer build, son B is more of a bruiser. This fleece fit better on the slimmer kid. The wider child fit into it fine, but the proportions looked off on him. A bonus is that dog hair seems to brush off of it easily. Overall, it is a nice fleece.

Very good material. Soft and thick, yet appears breathable. Colors are vivid and haven’t faded at all in the first couple of washes. Fits my son great. It’s his new favorite fall outerwear for school.
