Very Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q-Symphony does not work at all. It gives an echo sound to every show, movie, and in every streaming app I have. The sound is not very clear and sounds muffled at times.

Hello SamsungPaul, Thank you for taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-S800D Soundbar. There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar. First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device. Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The LED display changes as follows: White moves from left to right and right to left, and the middle LED blinks Cyan 3 times. Then the middle LED will blink RED and turn off. Samsung soundbar with woofer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound bar and woofer were surprisingly easy to set up and connect. It is a wireless system so it only has a power cord with each speaker. There is a type-C cord included but we didn't use it. The sound is super clear, I can hear background voices and birds chirping and even wind blowing and the bass has been a game changer. I have the woofer sitting across from my tv because I didn't care for the look of a speaker right next to my fireplace and the sound is still amazing with zero issues, also you can add rear speakers if you needed to expand in the future. There is a setting for every type of program and game, I've only used half of them because I like the way it sounds most of the time. I love the remote, it has settings you can use without having to navigate away from your program and find the audio settings on the tv, and similar to the TV remote, it's rechargeable. The sound bar is so slim you can barely see it, that's the only reason I bought an external sound system. I hated the old style that took up the whole mantel and looked super ugly, this one is white so it blends in beautifully and it's so lightweight I mounted it on the wall with tape. I was certain I would be returning it but I really love it and I'm so glad I purchased this system. It's really made a huge difference in my tv viewing experience.

I love samsung and my soundbar is fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As i currently still own and use this soundbar and the subwoofer that comes, which is absolutely fantastic. The subwoofer the dual tends that are much louder than the regulars and the soundbar alone is the size length of my 65 inch flat screen TV and the living room and then have another one down here in my basement living room I've been a huge fan of Samsung. My entire life i've owned every single samsung phone to the state.I bought him one every time it comes out.I preorder him, but I would love to win a thousand dollars, so I could pay my bills.Love you guys.Thank you.Samsung, you guys are the best and I won't ever stop buying from you .

All of the Above

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the device is very easy to use and to connect with Bluetooth it is clear throughout the house has a perfect sound throughout the house and this is a four bedroom house . I love to listen to music when I'm cleaning or cooking or just simply relaxing , and this device is perfect for all of it. I do wish that it was a little louder when used on the outside patio the outside takes away from the sound that I have inside out.

Pleased with purchase

Sounds great, especially with new movies designed for this type of system. I also like playing Sonos off my phone. Watching football is much more fun. Commercials can be a bit loud though. Overall, it's not a high fidelity system or sound capability but for generally improving your TV experience, it's well worth the cost.

Great audio, but with a connection issue

So the sound is 5 stars for me. However, it disconnects frequently during use for music on my other devices, which is frustrating. I've looked up troubleshooting options and haven't found any resolution to the issue. Ultimately, i just keep reconnecting. The only time it doesn't do this, is when i play music on my tv, which goes throuh the earc thing. So workaround, not a fix.
