this item is presented as smoked provolone. it's not smoked. it is plain provolone. Good cheese but be aware Smoked cheese it is not..

This cheese is always way too sticky cannot get it apart, cannot peel the slices. Flavor is OK but otherwise inedible due to the consistency and how it is packed.

I was very disappointed in this cheese. It was rubbery and had no taste to it. I checked the date on it to see if it was close to being out of date, however, it wasn't even close. I will never buy this cheese again!

I often buy two packs of provolone at Sam's Club and separate them each into thirds. Then freezer the extra packets. It freezes very well, no noticeable change in texture. Use for subs, omelets, snacks.

After reading these reviews I am so disappointed. I ruined my meatball hoagie by adding this cheese to it. My provolone tastes like rotten cottage cheese. I'm going to exchange it as others have had better experiences.

It's great it the only downside is it goes bad within the month if you do not separate them
