I ran across this grill Gazebo at Sam's Club back in February. Given the size of my patio, this was the correct size. I purchased it along with installation, and within days the installation team contacted me to set up a date and time for delivery and installation. They were on time and did an excellent job. My neighbors were impressed with the finished product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to be able to grill all year under cover. I live in far northern New York and needed something to keep the snow off of me and the grill. Has good snow load, was straight forward to assemble and looks good with our Cordova gazebo.

My partner and I built this grillzebo over a couple of weekends. The video directions and the booklet made the assembly process very clear given the complexity of the design. My husband originally wanted to build something from scratch, but I’m glad we went with this tried and true design. It is worth the added cost. The individual pieces are cut in such a way to make them not so heavy or unwieldy. The only difficult part was getting the roof on but my partner who is over 6 ft was able to do it with the help of 2 friends. There were a few boards that arrived with small cracks in them, but they didn’t compromise the integrity of the structure and is not that noticeable. I’m interested to see how soon the cedar starts to gray and needs to be stained, but hoping we can get away with doing that next season.

I loved the quality of my 20x12 Norwood gazebo so much that I purchased this one while my other was being assembled. A neighbor saw both while passing and stopped to say how nice they looked. I've received quite a few compliments on both! And they really do cut out some of the summer heat, a definite plus! No regrets on this purchase! I have one more area to cover and it will definitely be one from Backyard Discovery.

Just bought this gazebo for our backyard - delivery was fast, the assembly looks reasonable, and the quality is AMAZING! I like the idea of the built-in PowerPort - it’s something I didn’t find on other gazebos - and I think it will definitely come in handy for our first grill date night! I can’t wait to use it!

This Arcadia 12x10 Gasebo is an awesome addition to my deck! I love it! It was really well packaged, arrived earlier than expected and in very good shape! You definitely need two or people to put it together, but Backyard did an excellent job with instruction, paper and bilt app. They have everything lined up with with very accurate pilot holes and excellent hardware. My deck is off the ground so I added additional support, just incase I would definitely recommend this item to a friend! Matter of fact one of my friends is offering one today, just from the pictures I sent him.

Purchased this unit on a Saturday morning, by Sunday afternoon I had been notified it was already in transit, Monday morning I was notified it was in town, and by Wednesday afternoon it was in my driveway. Never got notified it was being delivered, it just showed up. I was able to assemble and get it completed in 20 hrs. including staining and protecting the woodwork, I would highly recommend sorting, inventorying, staining and waterproofing before you start assembly, assembly was not difficult, however it requires you to VERY CLOSELY look and follow the instructions or you're going to screw up. The quality of the wood was very good, all the holes and hardware lined up and went smooth, you're going to need at least 3 people to stand it up (will need them for a couple hours). My only complaints are the crappy anchors they send for the concrete are terrible (I opted to get some real red head concrete anchors instead) and the metal roofing doesn't extend past the drip edge far enough to work very well (1/4" as per instructions). I already have a spot developing on one of the main posts where the wood split a little due to an imperfection in the grain and is starting to swell up some after a good rain, it was stained and water sealed with 2 coats prior, we will see how it goes and maybe need to warranty that post down the road if it continues to get worse. I am likely to purchase another one to build an outdoor kitchen under if this proves to hold up well

This 20x20 carport kit arrived in 11 boxes. When we opened them, there was hundreds of boards and several hundred bolts, nuts, screws, washers and brackets. This could all be intimidating! But, my wife (age 71) and I (age 75), sorted out the lumber and applied an outdoor stain to all of the pieces. We also sorted out the hardware. Luckily, my 75th birthday party coincided with the need to erect the nine vertical posts, so we had help. You really do need extra people for this step. After that, it was all on my wife and I. Took us about three days to finish, working short days because of the heat. A few things to note: Every drilled hole was exactly in the right place. However, on some occasions, boards had to be flopped to align the holes, otherwise you'd think the holes were drilled in the wrong spots. Try not to leave the untreated boards out in the blazing sun. They will twist. Be careful on opening the bags of hardware to keep all of the pieces in their bags, and to be able to read the numbers on the ripped-open bags. You cannot spend too much time squaring the roof. We must have measured it 20-25 times as we went along, before putting up the metal panels, as each time we worked on plumbing the posts and installing the rafters required a slight adjustment. As it was, we were 1/4 inch off, and that 1/4 inch did show up when we put on the metal panels. We installed this carport onto a concrete barn floor laid about 100 years ago. They made concrete tough in those days. Several of the screws we drilled into the concrete snapped off just as they were getting tight. (This also happened with concrete screws we bought at Home Depot, so not necessarily the result of low quality screws by the company.) While the instructions say not to get on the roof, unless you have long, long arms, you do have to either sit on the roof beams or lean way over to screw in the metal roofing panels. But I never felt any weakness from the structure when doing so. Oh, I was lucky and had a dental procedure this summer which has limited my eating. Consequently, I lost about 20 pounds. You need to be lean to fit through the holes between rafters in order screw in the panels from above. By following the instructions (and reading ahead a few pages) this project was very do-able for us. It turned out so beautiful that even our neighbor, who is a building contractor and perfectionist, has complimented us. It does the job of keeping our car and other vehicles dry and is a wonderful addition. We would recommend this carport.
