[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my gazebo to try and make my grilling experience more enjoyable. Until I got it I was grilling outside and at the mercy of the weather. Now I can grill whenever I please. The convenience of the electrical outlets and the hangers for your accessories is great. It looks wonderful and so far it has been a wonderful addition to our outdoor space. Assembly took me approximately 8 hours alone with the exception of the roof where my wife assisted me. The directions are good but do not emphasize a couple things. Lay out your roof before you begin fastening it. It does not reach edge to edge. Lay out your roof trim also. It can be a little tricky. And most importantly, assemble it in the location you want it to be. It’s very heavy. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend this grill gazebo.

Bought this gazebo because of the size and shape for my back porch. It gets lots of sun and was too hot to sit out there, as well to have rain coverage. We flipped it where the high end is next the house so it drains way from the house. Took three of us to put together in about 5 hours and three of us to put the roof on. Best way is to put a ladder in the center and push it up, we had three people to push it. You will have to treat it with stain, but over all high quality, instructions are easy to follow. Looking forward to hanging out now in the backyard. The dogs are too!

This 20x20 carport kit arrived in 11 boxes. When we opened them, there was hundreds of boards and several hundred bolts, nuts, screws, washers and brackets. This could all be intimidating! But, my wife (age 71) and I (age 75), sorted out the lumber and applied an outdoor stain to all of the pieces. We also sorted out the hardware. Luckily, my 75th birthday party coincided with the need to erect the nine vertical posts, so we had help. You really do need extra people for this step. After that, it was all on my wife and I. Took us about three days to finish, working short days because of the heat. A few things to note: Every drilled hole was exactly in the right place. However, on some occasions, boards had to be flopped to align the holes, otherwise you'd think the holes were drilled in the wrong spots. Try not to leave the untreated boards out in the blazing sun. They will twist. Be careful on opening the bags of hardware to keep all of the pieces in their bags, and to be able to read the numbers on the ripped-open bags. You cannot spend too much time squaring the roof. We must have measured it 20-25 times as we went along, before putting up the metal panels, as each time we worked on plumbing the posts and installing the rafters required a slight adjustment. As it was, we were 1/4 inch off, and that 1/4 inch did show up when we put on the metal panels. We installed this carport onto a concrete barn floor laid about 100 years ago. They made concrete tough in those days. Several of the screws we drilled into the concrete snapped off just as they were getting tight. (This also happened with concrete screws we bought at Home Depot, so not necessarily the result of low quality screws by the company.) While the instructions say not to get on the roof, unless you have long, long arms, you do have to either sit on the roof beams or lean way over to screw in the metal roofing panels. But I never felt any weakness from the structure when doing so. Oh, I was lucky and had a dental procedure this summer which has limited my eating. Consequently, I lost about 20 pounds. You need to be lean to fit through the holes between rafters in order screw in the panels from above. By following the instructions (and reading ahead a few pages) this project was very do-able for us. It turned out so beautiful that even our neighbor, who is a building contractor and perfectionist, has complimented us. It does the job of keeping our car and other vehicles dry and is a wonderful addition. We would recommend this carport.

The Backyard Discovery Saxony XL Grill Gazebo exceeded my expectations. We chose the DIY option. It wasn't too difficult to assemble took 3 of us about 6 hours to complete. We ran into one hiccup, but a quick call to the customer service line had the issue resolved in no time at all. If I was to do it again I would probably pay the extra money to have someone else put it together, unless you truly enjoy building things I would recommend a installer. The Gazebo itself is high quality and looks amazing. They do recommend you weather seal it after you put it together, so make sure you plan to do that to keep it looking amazing for years to come. The plugs it comes with are great and a nice added touch. Overall, this gazebo is a home run and a great value. It is super durable and feels solid.

From ordering to delivery to setup this is a great product. The material was high quality. The directions were actually decent. I do recommend that you read them through once, lay out parts and tools, and also when doing some of the middle steps look ahead then go back and do the step. I found this to help support what the end result would be on the current step. I would challenge the takes three hours! And having 3 friends is helpful. 4 to lift the roof. Lastly once assembled it is heavy and hard to move so be prepared. A great buy and product!

We found the perfect Gazebo for our back yard patio. When it arrived, we were amazed at the quality of the materials, structure, and overall look. It is stunning! Since getting it assembled we have spent nearly every night sitting under it and enjoying our patio. Love this Arcadia Gazebo...

I wasn't sure if it would be too big for our relatively small yard, but it has changed the whole look of our backyard. We used to have the grill pressed up against the house, but we actually moved it out into the middle of the patio with the gazebo over it, hung some lights, and have the table a bit further out... and it looks like the back of a restaurant now. I thought it was neat but I actually really didn't expect it to so dramatically change the look of our yard. People comment on it every time they come over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually bought this cover for a side porch and it is a great fit! This is my second Backyard Discovery purchase. I loved the quality of my 20x12 Norwood gazebo so much that I purchased this one while my other was being assembled. A neighbor saw both while passing and stopped to say how nice they looked. I've received quite a few compliments on both! And they really do cut out some of the summer heat, a definite plus! No regrets on this purchase! I have one more area to cover and it will definitely be one from Backyard Discovery.

I would give it 5 stars but a couple of the boards don’t line up perfectly preventing the screws from sitting flush. I hope that doesn’t lead to issues down the road. For now, we are very happy with this purchase!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the 20'x9.5' Arcadia Gazebo in April 2023. Took 2 inexperienced people approx 10 hrs to assemble over 2 days. It is a beautiful addition to our deck, provides excellent shade and a pleasant area to relax. Family members and neighbors are envious!
