I picked this unit up on sale and am very pleased with the features I received for the money I paid. This generator will power the biggest share of my house and is still portable enough to take to my cabin. Can't imagine how I got by with out it.

Within 15 minutes of getting my new generac 8000 watt generator home I had it setup and running. Oil and battery included. Great quality and dependability.

So far. So good. I haven't really had to use it yet. I purchased for power outage. I start it every month or so. It starts on one pull. Even when temperatures are below zero.

We had a 14-year old Generac 5500 which was just replaced with this 8000 watt model. I brought it home from the dealer and used it immediately. This review is brought to you with auxillary power generated by Generac!

Easy to assemble and easy to operate...obvious that Generac took the time to develop a product easy for the homeowner to use....lve the electric start.

Purchased this generator for our carpenter so that he could start building our new house. Added fuel and oil - 1 pull and started right up! Minimal assembly. Worked terrific for the tools that they were using.. Many thanks for a great product!

Got it in January and got to used it in October. Filled tank with five gallons and ran all night. Plus til about 9am. No problem keeping 8 circuits going. Easy start . Love the electric start.

JUST RECIEVED MY 17.500 UNIT TOOK ABT 1 HR TO GET READY. I LET IT RUN LOW IDLE TO BREAK IN CHECK OUTPUT. OUTPUT IS AS SHOWN BIG 16 GAL TANK SHOULD RUN ALL NIGHT

This is a very high quality product--starts and runs great and is a real nice looking unit. The distributor answered all my questions and even provided free delivery.

I haven't run this unit much yet so I have no reason to downgrade it. Noise level is a concern because of neighbors. Power quality (voltage stability and waveform) is another concern that I will need to evaluate before I run electronics.
