I bought my portable Generator just before Hurricane Helene hit. We were without power for one week. Our Generac worked perfectly well. We had water for daily shower’s and were able to flush our toilets, and cook.

I am 5'1 in height &100 pounds in weight female. The 6500 pull start was very easy to start. The very first time I fired it up the generator kicked over with ease. It was easy to set the throttle and the machine ran smoothly for hours.

Just Purchased. Set up was easy and easy start up. I am a lady and had no problem. e have 2 storms coming to us at one time. Marco and then Laura. That is reason for purchasing it.

I purchased this generator as a backup to keep the heat on, well pump running, and refrigerator running. It was easy to assemble, and runs fairly quietly. I recommend it.

I love this generator run the whole house no problem with just a little common sense just remember you can’t have a central air, take a shower with a well pump and electric hot water heater and cook at the same time.

THE GENERAC 17500 IS A BEAST OF A MACHINE, WELL BUILT. THE FEATURES ARE EASY TO ACCESS AND THE ENGINE IS STRONG SOUNDING. THE MACHINE IS EASY SERVICE FROM BATTERY TO OIL CHANGE. THIS MACHINE WELL BE AROUND FOR YEARS.

Unit surged badly right out of the box. Would not provide reliable power when it was need desperately needed. Could t get support when it happened and now faced with decision on what to do with a useless heap of metal.

This genny is does everything I need when the power goes out or when I'm working on project away from electrical service. One nice addition would be a keyed starter switch.

This generator was very easy to set up and get started. All you have to do is follow the instructions in the manual. I was set up and running within a half a hour after reading the manual.
