Actually stumbled upon this brand, and model, when searching for a generator. After setting up and using, I could not be more pleased with the experience and performance.

We have 5500 watt model over 5 years old that runs better with portable welding equipment. this new GP 8000 cuts off, tripping the circuit breaker whenever we run a portable welder.

I bought this item after a hurricane and was able to run two of my neighbors refrigerators and a/c's plus my own. With no problem. Unfortunately, it was stolen a month later. Hoping to save enough to by one for my family again though. Great product.

I bought two 6500 running watt Generac generators after the Hurricane Helene storm. Both performed exceptionally well without fail. They exceeded my expectations.

Since I'm new with this product, I can not give you in-depth comments (purchased 8/31/19); however, it was great when it started and idled and then cruised,very smooth and not very noisy. Expect many years of performance with it. jfb

JUST RECIEVED MY 17.500 UNIT TOOK ABT 1 HR TO GET READY. I LET IT RUN LOW IDLE TO BREAK IN CHECK OUTPUT. OUTPUT IS AS SHOWN BIG 16 GAL TANK SHOULD RUN ALL NIGHT
