I really like this generator. I only have one concern and that is the motor runs at a fairly high rpm with no electrical load. 8m not sure if that is normal operation or if something needs to be adjusted.

I know Generac has to compete, but I'd pay extra to know my generator was made in America. Great product started on first pull. Quieter than other generators in its class.

This generator has worked great for our needs this far. The wind can blow the wrong way and our side of the street will be without power for hours. This generator has always been easy to use when we need to get through the night.

I bought this product for power outages. Sump pump in basement was primary reason since I have a finished basement. It was also important to me for my refrigerator and freezer to keep my food from being ruined during a power outage.

I bought this for backup during potential outages from tropical storms. I only wish this had come with a cover for storing it in the garage. It is hard to find one that fits correctly.
