The directions were easy to follow; it only took 2 minutes to fully cook the bag of of rice for my entire family!!! The texture was okay. I personally prefer rice cooked on a stove, but this was a great side dish to our meal! As a single mother, I'm always looking for more convenient options to save time in the kitchen. It was pretty easy to use and heat up however it was a little drier than traditionally made jasmine rice. The taste was about the same and the stickiness was actually better with this uncle Ben rice

I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted so great. The texture was almost like if I'd cooked the rice myself. And what is there not to love about Jasmine rice! I love the idea of not having to wait on rice to cook when I want rice as a side dish to accompany my meal. This is a great concept and tastes great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I followed the insteucrions to tear the top of the bag and place it in the microwave. The taste was bad. It tasted and smelled like plstic and dry. I added spices while eating it and it still tasted the same way.
