We recently were on vacation and wanted a quick side for our dinner and foudn Ben's Original Ready Rice. I did not think we would like it as much as the standard ones we have been cooking, but the flavor is there and it could not be easier to use.

The directions were easy to follow; it only took 2 minutes to fully cook the bag of of rice for my entire family!!! The texture was okay. I personally prefer rice cooked on a stove, but this was a great side dish to our meal! As a single mother, I'm always looking for more convenient options to save time in the kitchen. Mine broke right after I got this so I was thankful there was also instructions on the bag for making on the stove top. Even on the stove top it's not hard to make and only takes a few minutes. I loved the flavor and was surprised at the richness of the jasmine from a package. Not as good as made fresh but really good and so much easier and faster, and I am sure even easier in the microwave!

We bought this for Easter for a quick side dish, what we didn’t know is that we would be repurchasing it and using it as a staple in our household. We use about two bags for a family of 4 and that’s about 2 cups per person. For the price of rice that you cook on the stove versus this... I get it it’s more expensive, but you’re paying for convenience. Convenience of time and dishes. You don’t sacrifice taste. This taste just as good and is just as fragrant as stove rice. Serves will with all types of cuisine and in our healthy lifestyle.

I didn't have high hopes for this product. Anything out of the microwave usually does not taste good. This rice on the other hand was great. It had a good texture and mouth feel. Definitely recommend trying this.
