Our dinner schedules are fairly hectic and we really enjoy this rice so having it ready in 90 seconds is perfect. The price of this package of six pouches is much less than anything you'll find at the supermarket.

For the price and convenience this is great for me. One pack usually usually stretches for two meals, and since i dont eat rice everyday a box can last a month. Prep is simple and tastes great..

Am remodeling, so have micro and outside grill wirh burner. Burner too hot to simmer fresh rice. Tried this and in a pinch, very quick and tasty with added butter and salt. Will go back to regular jasmin when kitchen operating. Doesnt have the aroma and flavor of real thing, but can use with grilled chops for now.

I have ordered this box of Jasmine rice (the 6 pack) three times. The first time the rice was fresh. The second and third times, the packets were very hard and almost impossible to break up before microwaving. The rice was hard, dry, lumpy and not very tasty. Perhaps these boxes are not being stored properly.

This is awesome bulk buying. We use these for meal prepping. It makes prepping lunches so much easier. You can even add spices to it before you microwave it. The rice microwaves really well it doesn’t get soggy or clumpy. I prefer to actually cook mine at 60 seconds flat on its side with an 1 inch slit.. Instead of the recommended 90 seconds. My husband will add more water in to his package and cook it for the recommended 90 seconds. It comes out super fluffy that way. My only concern is, can we please continue to provide tribute to the original name? Bring back uncle Ben’s! He deserves his royalties!

The latest box of this I've bought has a strong pungent odor much likely broccoli. Regardless of the microwave I use, even one I have never cooked/reheated broccoli in, it smells like broccoli. Not sure if it's a quality issue or what as I had not experienced this previously but reluctant to buy again now.

I purchased 10 boxes of this product on line because i haven't been able to purchase it in our local Sam's club- I've opened 3 boxes so far and all of the packs of rice are hard and can't be broken up. They are not fresh at all and cant be prepared to eat. I need to know what i need to do with these. You are supposed to be able to squeeze pouch to break up rice in order for it to cook. However these pouches cant be squeezed, they are either stale or have been in the heat. They are like a brick. So they are useless.

When it’s just the two of us, one package is the exact serving size we share. Perfect as a side dish for Chicken or as the base under almost any concoction-Beans, Chinese, stroganoff, steamed vegetables, milk sugar, etc….massage the packet and pop in the microwave for 90 seconds.

So easy to make and always perfect. When I want a fried rice or just a rice to compliment a meal.

Great flavor. Easy side dish.
