[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure about this product when I first received it. The rice is already cooked so you just need to heat it up in the microwave. I didn't have high hopes for this product. Anything out of the microwave usually does not taste good. This rice on the other hand was great. It had a good texture and mouth feel. Definitely recommend trying this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so tasty and so easy to cook. Just microwave for 5 minutes and enjoy. It tastes just as good as normal stovetop rice. We love this. We also like that we can take this with us to a hotel room and cook in a microwave in the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too moist I am use to jasmine being more fluffy and flavorful. It has a buttery taste but it is more blend like it was microwave too long. It could have been sealed better to produce more freshness. I think it could be better

Most impressive was how simple it was to cook! 90 seconds in the microwave and I got rice with the perfect consistency. No need to use an extra dish because it cooked in the bag. I will be getting more of this.

I love that I can make a quick lunch with this in about 90 seconds! More than enough rice for two people! I also love it as a side for dinner with chicken or even burgers. Great product at a great price and so easy to use!

When buying Ben’s original microwavable rice pouches, specifically the jasmine rice, make sure you check the little white box on the back of the pouch! It lists an sell by/expiration date, and where the package originated from. Most of the time. I buy this rice every week and have it pretty much every day. Any packages from anywhere other than Canada, have tasted/smelled rancid and disgusting! Packages that have UK, Thailand, or just some numbers with some letters on that white box, are terrible. And I’ve tested this. The only packages that taste right as of recently are the Canada packages. Sometimes the packages that only list an L with some numbers after taste fine, but they’ve been questionable too. Don’t know what is going on with the actual production of the rice or the storage of it but it is toxic. Smells like rancid cooking oil. My local Walmart has packages from the UK on the shelves and they are terrible. I opened one out of six and can’t cook any others because that one was terrible. And the others will be too!!! I’ve left reviews on Amazon, Target, I’ve contacted Ben’s original. It’s not OK that they’re putting product out like that! Stop putting bad rice on the shelves!
