I bought 2 pairs of these jeans for my son in size 40x30. He work in a job where he needs to bend over or stoop to move things. The first time he stooped over wearing jeans they shredded up the back seam. It was embarrassing for him to have this happen at work. I needed to take him a replacement pair of pants so he could finish the workday. The 2nd pair started to shred up the back the same way. They are both on my discard pile -- not even worth donating. Clearly, these jeans are made of low-quality synthetic material, not the 98% cotton that is claimed on the label. I have never seen genuine cotton shred like cheap polyester. If you need something durable, skip these jeans and buy a better quality pair that is a name brand.

These were so bad I had to get a refund. The problem was one I never encountered before. After washing them twice they still stunk. The smell was so bad that they stunk up the utility room and the smell got over all the clothes being washed. We had to wash them again. The smell was like oil from a mechanics garage. Don't take the chance

I really liked these jeans... Until someone decided to eliminate 2 of the belt loops and charge more for less. SMH... Why mess with something that isn't broken? It is a real shame that someone who probably doesn't even wear these jeans was allowed to ruin a perfectly good product by making it less than it was, and then turning around and charging more for it..!? I don't mind paying the increased price, just put back the 2 missing belt loops. In their original design (with 7 belt loops), these jeans could easily compare and compete with some higher end brands. Now, with only 5 belt loops, they can't keep the belt from sliding off waist of the jeans and onto your skin or tucked-in shirt. Now they wear and look cheap. Please, please restore the original 7 belt-loop design for me and the other men who will not take the time to write a review and will just buy their jeans from your competitors. Thank you for your attention and consideration.

2 belt loops short

I bought 4 pairs in different colors. They arrived quickly. Upon opening the box, it smelled horribly of sulfur and chemicals. It was so bad that we had to wash all pairs immediately. There was a warning with the jeans to be aware of dye transferring to other articles of clothing. We washed the jeans several times, but the horrible smell would not wash out. I'm not sure if we will be able to use them at all because the smell is so bad. The black pair releases dye each time it is washed, and when worn, dye transfers onto shirts and underwear. Do not wash these jeans with anything unless you want the other items to be dyed. I'm not sure if the dye will ever stop transferring to other items washed or worn.

Have bought MM jeans for years. They were comfortable and durable. Ordered these and tried them on and realized they are completely different. Too tight around the crotch and skinny around the legs and calf. They are definitely not relaxed fit. More like spandex. Unfortunately will need to return. Bring back the previous version, please!

Great fit and comfort

I have worn Member's Mark Jeans for probably over 15 years, and they were fantastic. Good quality fabric, good fit, choice between blue and "stone washed", and even had two side-by-side belt loops in the very back which at first I thought was just a novelty but turned out to be rather useful. Now they only have these "stretchy" jeans that are a much thinner fabric, don't fit as well (the waist, or top of the jeans don't come up as high as the older jeans), and they just don't feel like jeans that would be worn to do any sort of work in. Very disappointing, and I will likely need to find a new source.

I have been wearing Members Mark for years, love them....UNTIL I bought two pair a few weeks ago. First thing I noticed was the missing belt loops. Seriously. Those belt loops allow the jeans to fit better and keep the belt off your skin. But the feel is terrible. I thought they needed to be worn and washed a couple of times. Still hated them. Then I read the label. Stretch material is incorporated into the fabric. Nope, they are going back. Totally messed up a great pair of jeans. Will have to find another brand that feels better than this.

My last pair ripped along seam of my butt. Hoping it was maybe just one defective pair, I bought another pair and they are probably 2-3 months old and they ripped in the exact same place. Otherwise, I like the jeans, they fits well, are comfortable too, but the quality just isn't there. No fun having your underwear showing while at work LOL (and I have an office/desk job so I'm not really abusing the jeans).
