My wife and her friend saw this gazebo at Sams Warehouse for $1600. Price was right so we ordered it right away. They let us know that Sams had ordered 6 of these and wasnt expected to come in for quite a while. So I got on to the internet to find it somewhere else. Now when I was doing this it was right before Mothers Day and this was going to be perfect for her in the backyard. In my search i found this same gazebo on your website Backyard Discovery. But at a substantually higher cost $2400. My wife didnt like it but I ordered it anyway knowing it was going to be here the following week. . Timing was perfect for her Mothers Day. I bought it and our sons came to put it together on Mothers Day. I have to say this kit was really well thought out. the instructions were so easy to follow. Even for this dum truckdriver. We love our new addition to the patio and while we installed it late in the season for much use, we look forward to next spring and summer. Install was work, but for the most part straight forward. We had help lifting roof sections in place as well as the initial four posts. We took our time, followed the paper instructions mostly and are very happy with the result. We sealed it with Thompsons sealer-before the roof panels were on which was a wise decision. And yesterday, we hung 5 strands of vintage large Christmas lights under the roof! Highly recommend

Very well planned out kit. Kudos to the designers and fabricators. One thing I would like to point out are the markings for the parts. It was a little difficult to read the numbers on the wood pieces. Dark ink on dark stained wood. Just had to match the image and measurements from the manual. Also some of the markings on the bags were a little hard to read as well. One thing that I am not really happy about is the edge trim for the roof. It is installed on top of the sheeting which means the runoff goes in behind the edging and can cause premature rot to the outer rafter boards. I suggest using a wood sealer on the rafters as well as foam closure strips under the roof sheeting BEFORE installing the edge trim. I look forward to this summer and setting up our outdoor theater while smoking a brisket!!!!!!

Outstanding engineering of product, was able to assemble on my own with help to join posts & lift roof. All pieces accounted for and appreciated extra hardware on fasteners etc. Labelling of parts could have been better as part number was difficult to read where it had been stamped. Related to marketing of the assembly service, was not made aware of the 6' required prior to purchase so had to cancel that service and install myself. Take your time if you assemble yourself, it is possible, just need to follow the written instructions and refer to the Bilt guide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We LOVE our gazebo!! We have been looking for something for the back patio to make it a more useable area and this worked out perfect!! We put guttering on the side of it that meets with the house so when it rains, we have a completely dry walkway out onto the patio. I can't say enough good things about it!!

My family and I bought this piece for my mom for Mother's day. We assembled it this past Friday (May 5, 2023) after buying it Wednesday (May 3, 2023) everything seemed to be going fine with assembly, but one of the panels will not line up the way it should because 2 boards are warped. With that being said, there are 2 major gaps in the roof, and we don't know how to fix this. Really disappointing because of how much money, time and frustration was spent with just that one panel. Like I said everything else fits together fine, just the one 14' panel has bad boards. You can't expect perfect, but for that kind of money it's a little disappointing.

Extremely happy with our new gazebo!! This company is great, the materials are good and very detailed instructions. Recommend stacking and labeling all the boards after unpacking the crates for easier assembly. Keep everything organized. My husband and I built this ourselves but did have help getting the roof panels up. Very happy, highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this earlier this year and overall very happy I did. When it arrived there was damage to a couple of boxes and some of the material. The company was great to work with and sent new parts right away. The assembly took me quite awhile and some of the instructions could have been better. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this gazebo to anyone.

happy that I bought this a month ago. Just need to see how it does when it rains. Has been able to do very well with the winds. The 4 ridge pieces should hold but we will see with time. The quality of the material was good but had problems with some of the pieces being under/over length. some of the pieces were warped. Had a delay on one of the 12' roof panels that cost me some time to erect and money for a worker that came out of town. All in all once I received the right size pieces the hole thing when up without a problem.

My husband and 2 friends took a day to put together this pergola. It came out beautiful, and it's exactly what we wanted! We live on the water, and it's heavy materials shouldn't be a problem with strong winds. Love it and can't wait for summer cocktails poolside under it!
