Very nice product, but do yourself three favors. 1) Download the BILT app. This helps clear up any doubts you have about how things go together. You still have to pay attention to the details of the instructions! 2) Don't get in a hurry. Make sure you take the time to make sure the parts are properly aligned before tightening things down. This will aid in proper fit in subsequent steps. 3) Have plenty of room to lay out the six cartons that this unit comes in. I was killing myself trying to make sub-assemblies in one side of my garage and digging through boxes while it poured down rain outside. Also, it's really nice to have help. It DOES TAKE THREE PEOPLE to install the roof panels. After some struggles, still Very happy with this piece.

Bought it last summer. My 40 year old son and I put it together. Would be easier for 3 or even 4 people but my son and I are resourceful! We put lights on it and I constructed a bar on the side facing our above ground pool. All the pieces fit together just as in the instructions. For the money, I felt this was super nice! Just got married and I plan to put one in the back yard of my wife’s home which we plan to keep. Be aware, this is cedar wood construction and there is nothing flimsy about it! Just a foot note; one of the corner braces had a bad chip on arrival and a replacement came super quick, no questions asked.

We just built two Backyard Discovery structures and we absolutely love them! The instructions were very clear for both, especially the emphasis on critical steps that would terribly difficult later on if missed. Some of the online reviewers, who praised your products and were quite detailed, recommended treating all of the pieces before assembly. We did so. Yes, it added some time to the project. But we want this to last for a very long time and consider that extra investment of our time to be worth it. I am not sure if you want to mention such an undertaking or not. Perhaps if you had been doing some studies and could offer some insight? In the meantime, we'll have to see how well Olympic Transparent Waterguard works over the years.

This definitely is alot of work. it says it takes 3 people 10 hrs. I'd say 2 & both should have tools. it's not difficult to build. I did most of it myself (I'm a 45 yr old woman) with help from my son & his friend with the roof. the only negative I have is the clamp that it comes with is not strong enough & the one we received was broken. overall I love the gazebo & have been enjoying it

We wanted to add a 'kitchen' area to our backyard pool deck. We saw the Cordova Gazebo at Sam's Club and it looked great. We ordered it and it arrived very quickly (quicker than estimated). I was able to construct the main frame and the roof segments myself and then had a friend come over to lift them into place. All the components lined up and fitted well. I added some lights strings and fitted my own Z-Wave light switches controlled by Alexa. I didn't use the supplied power outlet as it was just a power strip in a box and I wanted something more permanent and robust. I painted some electrical conduit and outlets black to match the Gazebo hardware and it looks very professional.

I'm so happy I purchased this gazebo. It adds a great look to my backyard patio. Everything was labeled nicely to put together, although at times it was a little confusing. In all it took about 10 hours to put together with multiple people but so worth it in the end!

I had been searching for a gazebo to fit out poured patio and this one fit the bill. It was installed in October and I had wondered how it would handle an Iowa winter. Heavy snow, winds, sleet and everything in-between this structure held up. The gazebo is very well constructed and looks great. This is a low-maintenance solution to providing shade and definitely improves the aesthetics of the back of our house.
