This provides virtually no heat. There is not a fan to blow out the heat. You can only feel any warmth at all if you're standing about a foot in front of it. I have a small apartment and I could not even heat my bedroom. I had it about two and a half feet in front of my bed and could still not feel any warm air. It also has an extremely strong plastic smell which overwhelms my apartment completely. I will be returning this item.

Not very good. I had expected better from this space heater. It basically works like a hair dryer. You must be within a few inches or a couple of feet of it to feel any heat at all. It does not heat up a room. Even with its taller size, the heat is emitted from only about 8 inches of the 32" front panel. It also burns your skin if you get too close to the surface. I wouldn't buy this again.

This does get warm, but the fan is weak and doesn't push the heat out very far. Bought for my home office to keep the chill out of he air, but you need it right on top of you to feel the heat. My last Lasko would heat the whole office in no time at all. This one has been running for over an hour and my fingers are still chilled. It does also have a plastic smell that I'm sure will go away, but I will be returning so I will not be able to tell if it does.

This heater is useless! It barely puts out any heat, even when you’re right in front of it. The fan is very weak, so what little heat is generated cannot flow through a small room. Thanks to Sam’s return policy, this will be returned. The sale price seemed too good to be true. Guess it was!

I have two other Lasko Heater that was bought about 3 yrs ago. They are great for a small room. HOWEVER - This heater has a strong plastic odor. I thought it was because it was new. So I put it in the garage to air out and ran it a couple hours each day. I thought the odor was going away until I turned it on. Again is had a strong plastic odor that filled the garage. I took it back and was going to get another one, but when I opened the box inside the store you could smell that plastic odor. Not for me.

Works well and with my $200 increase in gas bill will save me money. I have 2 of the smaller model also and use one of them in my RV. My only complaint is the temperarure control only works while in "High" mode. In "Low" mode the heat output is continuous and will not limit temperature. I does run at about half power in this mode.
