This is an amazing product. In my opinion, it outperforms the original Jameson on every level. The strong flavor, slow (smooth) burn and the relatively cheap price point make it hard to beat in my opinion. That being said I would caution that I like both Jameson and Dark stout beer. Some of my friends who prefer the IPA's don't seem to care for this as much as I do. I continue to buy this over and over again without hesitation.

It's great! It's a step up from the original Jameson and has a richer flavor for a very small price difference. I tried it on the recommendation of one of my local bartenders and was in love. It's one of the few liquors I keep on hand in my house at all times.

I was lucky enough to sample this fine libation on my way through the Dublin Airport returning from the trip of a lifetime to Ireland. I found this particular Jameson variety to be incredibly smooth and refreshing. I enjoy sipping over ice, or mixed with a quality ginger ale and a squeeze of lime.

I have to say this is the best variation of the Jameson whisky Jameson has created. It’s still as smooth as Jameson but with some darker chocolate notes that’s great for drinking straight or mixed. Great for seasoned whisky drinkers that need a lighter whisky. Great taste for a great price.

More sour flavor than the original- certainly an IPA. Not your standard woody smell, It is lighter. You can tell it is a younger whiskey. More of a bite, less smooth but for less cost. This would be more of a mixing whiskey- not a straight sipping drink. Base of Irish whiskey with an undertone of the sour of the IPA.

When my hubby and I were on Seattle on a quick business trip from Alaska...no kiddo . We stepped into a whiskey bar that had Jameson Caskmates and he loved it. Fast forward 2020, 4 years later. It's his Valentines present along with some gummy bears and sour patch kids, and yes, ...some black lingerie too

As an avid Beer fan, I was very excited with the prospect of the Caskmates line. Originally, I had not tasted the IPA edition as I don’t drink to many but the Stout peaked my interest as that’s my preferred beer type. The Stout Edition of the Caskmates line is perfect! That smooth taste from Jameson you know and love with the perfect finish of a Stout with notes of coffee at the end. 10/10 recommend

Jameson Caskmates IPA is one of my favorite Irish whiskeys. The IPA barrel that its aged in helps make the taste light, kind of hoppy and crisp. It’s so easy to sip! I’d like the price a bit lower but other than that, jameson-caskmates-ipa-750ml is definitely a crowd pleaser

You can never go wrong with an Irish Mule! Jameson, ginger beer, and some lime juice is always refreshing no matter what day of the year it is. My friends and in prefer Caskmates over regular Jameson when it comes to cocktails or something to sip on over ice. But both products are great for any party!

The jameson-caskmates-ipa-750ml edition for this brand of whiskey is by far my favorite. It has more flavor and is smoother to drink than the traditional jameson-irish-whiskey. If you're a fan of having shots with your beers or just drinking it on the rocks, I definitely recommend trying this one out.
