[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Pennzoil Full Synthetic 5W-30 in my Chevrolet 6.0 after verifying it is Dexos approved. My mechanic commented that it is excellent oil. It functions well, holds good oil pressure and the engine ran cool and quiet.

Pennzoil was my first go to since all my mechanic friends raved about it. I changed the oil as normal and decided to wait and use it for a little bit of time before writing my own review. The quality of the oil is very high. It runs cleaner and I can tell the difference in my vehicles after changing from the oils the shops use. There is an additive that is used in the oil. I did notice that if I did not shake the bottle well enough, there was additive at the bottom (you can see the difference in texture when pouring). I will never take my cars back to the shop again for an oil change and I will always use Pennzoil!

Shake the oil before adding to get all the detergent out, because it may have settled. Pennzoil offsets 100% of the carbon emissions from creating the oil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pennzoil has a variety of products that protect your engine. I’m 43 and have a 2009 Nissan Murano with 120,000 miles on it (review 2021.) Over the past few oil changes, I’ve switched from conventional oil to a synthetic blend and this is my first time using a full synthetic. I made the switch because I’m getting lazy and am lacking the enthusiasm, I once had, for doing an oil change. While most people observe longer drain intervals for full synthetics, Pennzoil’s warranty only applies if you register online and meet certain conditions (such as following the manufacturers’ interval recommendations.) There are a few main variables that impact the duration of the drain interval. These include things like number of starts, what type of filter is being used, climate, driving behavior, etc. My car is outside of the warranty limit, I use good filters and don’t drive aggressively. So, I plan on trying to stretch the oil’s life for the next year (if I can.) There are some benefits to their premium synthetic oils but I’ll probably save that for when I get a newer car. As for the product, there is only one difference in how I do the change… I have to change the distance where the car alerts me about the oil change and increase it from the default 3,000 miles to a longer period.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased some Pennzoil Full Synthetic Motor Oil. This oil is very reliable to use since it is manufactured by Pennzoil. This company has been around for many years, I know because I used it when I was a kid and that's been a long time ago. The use of this oil allows you to go many more miles between oil changes. The full synthetic oil is manufactured from natural gas which is very good for emissions and is readily available. It meets all gasoline engine manufacture's requirements. I thoroughly recommend this motor oil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I changed my oil 11 days ago and replaced with the Penzoil synthetic. I have always used synthetic as my car requires it. Traditionally, I would use the manufacture brand. I did not notice any difference from this brand to the previous. Unfortunately , I am writing this review 11 days after trying. Ideally, if I were able to wait the 5000 miles and then my review would be more comprehensive and complete. So far the oil seems the same as previous .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many oils on my 2014 Acura and have always consistently found the oil to be dirty during every oil change. But after trying out the Pennzoil synthetic for the car, I can totally see the difference. This is a very good oil and does a great job in keeping all machinery clean. It's definitely a high quality oil that dealers would use. Eventhough I don't need to change oil for a while, I'd love to keep changing every 4-5K miles, to keep the inside machinery clean and running smooth. I'd say this is the best oil you can find for your vehicles that you want to keep running longer, and ones that you drive daily. I'd definitely recommend.
