Best Tire Ever

I was looking for a smooth riding quiet tire for my SUV. I got that and more. comfort was a big deal and so was road noise. I drive on open road a lot and long trips. I tow a boat with my SUV. the LTX M/S looks great with it's raised white letters. handles great wet and dry roads. braking is great. I was most surprised by it's traction in snow. living in the north east thinking I would need a more aggressive tire to handle the snow. not the case. I made the rite choice. the only thing that I would say that was bad about this tire. was the little cracks around the bead of the tire as it aged . dry rot . LTX M/S A+

Best tires I ever had

Back in 2005, I bought a set of these tires for my Honda Element. At the time the odometer was at 50,000 miles. Now I am looking at tires again for the same vehicle, which is why I am even on this website. I now have 140,000 miles on the Element. 90,000 miles on a set of tires can't be beat. I will definitely stick with Michelin!

100,000 Miles!!!

Bought my Honda Ridgeling new with this tire on it in 2006. Bought my first set of replacements last week after putting 100,000 miles on the original set! Incredible as that may sound they could have kept going!!! South Texas can be really hard on tires but these stood up like a champ. I'm not the type of person that would write a review on a product (first time) but this was just amazing and i have to send a thanks to Michelin. You made a believer out of me.

Good looking tire not quality

They look very sharp and clean looking on my truck bought they don’t hold up that long. I bought a set of these brand new for my 2005 Chevy Silverado Duramax made it about 30,000 miles before I had to get new tires because they wore out so much. They were less than a year old.

I have put 3 sets of LTX M/S tires on 3 of my vehicles. These tires are unbelievable; they wear great, aren't noisy and get really good wet and dry traction. My extended family has also been using these tires and has had great experiences with them. You cannot go wrong with these tires.

Michelin forever

Michelin has been my tire of choice since 2000. New Minivan came with michelins, great selling point. At 80k miles, did not think at the time, needed to spend alot on tires for the now old van. Was I sorry. I traded in old van with very noisy tires. Bought 4 runner could not wait to get michelins on it! Now have 60k on this set, I rotate them faithfully. no sign of needing to replace yet, but when I do no matter how old the vehicle I will buy michelins for every reason. low to no noise, wear, great composite hold the road great in ALL michigan weather. even have michelin on motorhome! 7 years on that set and still going strong.

Have been using various ...

Have been using various Michelin tires almost exclusively since the early 1970s. The few times I've purchased another brand, I regretted it very soon. In my opinion Michelin simply makes the best tires available at a reasonable price, which usually winds up being among the lowest cost per mile, even though a larger investment up front. I especially appreciate the real safety factors such as good stopping characteristics, good traction on slick roads, low propensity for hydroplaning.

If it's not Michelin, I'm not interested

My son has an older model Jeep Cherokee Limited with over 150K miles. The Jeep had set of Michelin tires which we loved the ride and the durability. We visited a local retail shop and they had sold out of the Michelin for that size car. The salesman recommended several high quality tires that he had in stock as an alternative. After considering his pitch, I simply said "If it's not a Michelin, I am not interested." Interestingly the saleman replied, "I think you are right. No question, Michelin is the best tire." After some reseach, I was able to find a set, ordered them and waited a couple of day for the tires to arrive. It was absolutely worth it. We drive the Jeep in mixed conditions; rain, snow, mountain gravel roads and interstates. Thanks Michelin for making such a great product!

I have owned three sets ...

I have owned three sets of LTX M/S , both on a Jeep Grand Cherokee & Two Chevy Silverado's. The LTX's were so smooth and quiet on my Jeep that it felt like it had a complete new suspension. I have over 82K miles on my current set on my silverado. I will never purchase any other tire than the the Michelin LTX series for any SUV or truck I own.

Unbelievable mileage

The Michelin man probably doesn't want to hear this but the last set of LTX M/S 225 70R15 tires I got 128,000 miles out of them and when my dealer could not locate another set for my Ranger they got me 235 70R15 and I've got 90,000 on these tires and they should last easily as long as the first set. I drive as a regional courier in the Kansas City area and went through OEM tires, replacement tires from other manufacturers and I will always buy Michelin's from here on out!!!!!
