This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. After 15 years of "Michelin only", thinking I should be more frugal, I ran through two sets of a competitor's brand, never coming close to Michelin's performance or longevity! Before leaving for our summer vacation '10, I put a full set on our all-wheel drive SUV, and the difference was AMAZING ... driving was a pleasure, like a million little fingers were gripping the road as we drove cross-country through Virginia's scenic highways ... the ride was far more comforatble, and fuel economy actually increased! My earlier Michelin sets had always had good tread up to the milage forecast ... not so with "brands X" ... I'm so glad to be back in safe hands ... clearly, my Michelin tires are still the best investment I can make for my family's transportation.

I trust my 4WD Jeep and our lives to our Michelin Tires. In all kinds of weather and road conditions, I have found none any better. The smooth, quiet ride and excellent mileage without having flats are specifics that are important to us. We have no complaints because we chose Michelin as the best and they are!

I bought these tires more than a year ago. I call them 3 season tires as we have 6 months of snow tire necessity in the north. I always buy the best I can afford and Michelin is a very good price for the quality. My wife and I both feel safe on wet or dry pavement and I have found that the road noise in our SUV has decreased dramatically since changing to Michelin. I have always leaned toward Michelin for the reasons above and lastly, if we get caught in an early snowstorm or ice storm I will always feel safe. We have the Defender LTX M/S

I have used bought 2 sets of Defender LTX M/S for my 2013 Toyota Highlander and each time I have been very pleased with both the wear and performance of these tires. First set lasted around 70-80K miles and the current set has been on for ~20K miles and look barely used. These tires have lasted much better than the Bridgestone tires that originally came on the vehicle and also ride much smoother. Just got back from a road trip (8 hours there, 8 hours back) and several times literally thought to myself how pleased I was with the smoothness of the ride. I can only guess that the other reviewers with poor reviews are either fake or there is some other issue other than the tires (wheel alignment or bent rim or installation issues). I use Michelin on all of my vehicles and I have recommended Defenders to multiple of my friends based on my experience with these tires and all of them have been very pleased also.

I experienced the worse nightmare possible, hundreds of miles from home, stranded on the side of the road, downpouring rain, AAA on the way..Michelin dealer where I had originally purchased these tires called the customer service center for Michelin and..after adjustments were made, had all 4 brand new tires mounted..I am in love with that Michelin man..lol Great way to keep a extremely happy customer~!! Happy New Year really takes on a wonderful meaning this year..Thanks again little guy!~!!

My first set of Michelins ( I am 62 yrs old ) Defender LTX M/S. Everything was great around town and local roads. Then I took a trip to Los Angeles. The rain grooves cut in the freeway caused this model tire to wander and follow the grooves. This was a very uncomfortable feeling. It was constant steering wheel adjustments. I guess the wrong tire for my truck.

bought a set of these for my blazer and trailblazer they are the best all season tire i have had on my suvs. tire life is awesome, the ride is good and no road noise. plain and simply put the only tire i would ever buy rain snow dry gravel it handles them all with perfection

I drive 35,000-40,000 miles per year. I am also an avid hunter and spend a fair amount of time off-road. In the past, I would opt for a more aggressive tread design than the LTXMS, but was always disappointed in the life span of the tires. I finally made the decision to go with a tire that would give me more economy on the road as well as a longer tread life and the LTXMS has been a great choice. I have noticed very little difference in my vehicle's (GMC 2500) off road capabilities and have been totally satisfied with the tread life. I have had a total of three sets of the LTXMS's on two trucks, and see no reason to alter this strategy. These are great tires!

I've had these tires on my F150 for a couple of months now and they are the quietest, smoothest riding tire I have ever owned. My truck is 9 years old and I've gone through 2 sets of tires from another manufacturer in 100,000 kms. With 115,000 km wear warranty on these Michelins, I'm sure I will be replacing the truck long before the tires wear out. The higher load rating is a bonus as I use my truck for towing and hauling about half of the time.
