We've used lower rated Filtrete filters that work well. I bought the Ultra because the others were out of stock. If you buy any Filtrete filters, I recommend changing them before your system shuts down from lack of air flow. They are that good!

Love them. Actualky catch all the fine dust and pollen that has been coming into our home, rather than ruining the AC unit by letting it ruin the coils or blower box.

These filters are a huge improvement over the standard filters we have been using. The air is noticeably cleaner and no particles or cat dander whatsoever.

Just bought the 14x30x1 merv 12, it is full size, therefore will not fit into wall slot. It should be at least 1/8" smaller all around. Dissappointed, package states it is 13 13/16 x 29 13/16, it is NOT.

I have tried using different kinds of filters. After using these Ultra Allergen filters for a year, I just received another order. Why? Because they work. The air is cleaner and less dust on furniture. It's a big deal to be able to breathe.

It is a good filter, but I’ve been told now by three different air-conditioning companies that they are too hard on your air condition unit and it makes them work too hard and to go to a lower grade.

I own an older home. My HVAC air return is an odd size. Can never find it at other retailers. Its always in stock online and at a better price with Sam's. I place my order and 2 or 3 days later the box is delivered to my front door! No shipping charges since I'm a plus member!

Excellent filters at a really good price! These really eliminate the finer dust and pollen particles in the air in our house in SC. We have noticed a drop in accumulated dust on horizontal surfaces in the house since we switched to these very efficient filters about 8 months ago.

These filters work very well & keep my house & vents very clean! No allergies either & priced a bit high but lower than at other places. I date them & change every 3 months. Once I vacuum cleaned them to reuse once and they held very well for over 6 months!

I have used Filtrete filters for years and they are consistently effective in pulling pollutants out of my home leaving it much more fresh. With droughts and dust a real problem this year the allergy causing agents are plentiful and everyone needs to use the higher grade filters for easier breathing!
