Great for bbq.

Delicious

I bought these about a month ago - got the last package in the case. Mine were wonderful. Well trimmed and tender. I simmered them in water for awhile with peppercorns, onions, carrots & a stalk of celery. Then let them cool in the water they were cooked in. Surprisingly very little fat on these. Ate them with BBQ sauce. When they're lean like this I've also braised them for 2-3 hrs in apple juice or cider with excellent results. As for all the negative reviews, guess it depends on how good a butcher you've got in your store.

Too much fat

Tender and delicious

I expected way more from this purchase. Probably wouldn't do it again. Way to much fat and not enough meat.

Know what you're getting. Great cut to cook low and slow on the grill or in the oven on a rack. Inexpensive cut, but really good with a nice rub.

Fatty, grisly spent 30 minutes trimming and then had to pour off fat halfway thru slow cook before I could add spicing and sauce. Just No.

I had high hopes for these country ribs. But they had an excessively thick layer of fat that (of course) was on the bottom so it couldn't be seen in the package. After trimming a lot of that off, it wasn't such a great deal. (Vestal, NY store)
