My mugs arrived broken

I have always wanted a square dinner ware set. I recieved this set 2 weeks ago and I just love it. It makes for a beautiful table and at a great price.

Love the shape of these dishes. Please note the dinner plate is heavy. The mugs are a nice size. However, quality control is an issue. One plate (the corner was down not up) and mug (drip of paint on side) was defective.

These dishes are SOOOO HEAVY I honestly cannot carry 2 with food. I have owned a restaurant for 35 years.. even with commercial, I have never felt anything so heavy.. cups are ridiculous they are so big.. and 2 broken. I am going to try to GIVE the whole set away. wish I could send back but already opened.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishes are a bit heavy and they're really slippery when wet, so on our first day of use, we dropped it as we moved it to the dishwasher. They're more fragile than I thought - the dish immediately shattered and had to be thrown out. For how heavy they are, I was hoping they would be more sturdy. They're too heavy for little kids to use easily. The shape and size of the dishes and plates are nice. The cups are a little too big, and again, heavy, but if you like a lot of coffee in the mornings, these have a lot of volume! The square shape of the cups make it a bit difficult to drink. Overall, the shapes and lines of the dishes are nice and aesthetically pleasing, but functionally, weight, and fragileness prevent me from giving it a better score.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] And solid in all ways - they are well-sized and apportioned and also heavy! The sturdiness is without question and the full set of all the elements needed for just family spagetti night or a full-fledged Thanksgiving meal with guests is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These plates look too tier and they function well. I love the set as it basically makes my whole presentation of meals look professional. I absolutely love them. I have also been getting multiple compliments on them on daily basis.

At first I was unsure about the square shape of the coffee cups in the bowls but they work perfectly for me and my family. The packaging was perfect to not break although it did put take a while to put them all away and get them all out of the box.
