The sushi was good a while ago. However now this is the 3rd time . The rice on the roll is stale . Not sure if the person who makes them change but stale . So disappointed as it was good for Sam’s when they started bringing to market.

This fairly standard roll missed the mark, despite the promise of being a staple in our grocery list. The roll I purchased smelled and tasted like rubbing alcohol, or what I imagine it tastes like. I had a California roll that was fine, so this may be a quality control issue. I might be willing to try a roll from FujiSan again, so for now I give it two stars.

I’ve been a Sam’s member for over 30 years and this is my first review — that’s how bad this “Tempura” Shrimp roll is. There is no tempura, there’s barely any “wasabi” (not even pea-sized,) and this is the weirdest taste and texture, I don’t even know how to explain. Hard, gummy rice blob with something sponge-y in the middle. This is so bad. I It’s Sam’s sushi so the bar is already low, but this should not be sold. If gas wasn’t so expensive these days, I would drive back to the club and get a refund. I usually pick some up at least once a month, but never again. My goodness, this is bad.

Just bought dynamite sushi. Stated tempura shrimp , got home 54 miles one way. It was imitation crab at shrimp price. Never had this issue before. I will never buy sushi from Sams again. I live in Texas buy it from HEB. Less expensive and the ingredients are actually in the product. Sams should be ashamed for selling a product without the correct ingredients listed.

Despite the other reviews, I tried it.. it was so yummy! Roll was tight and didn't fall apart at all. The tempura yea, it wasn't crispy.. but it's served cold. You can't expect it to be crispy. The flavor was wonderful and perfect. The Wasabi I don't use personally, but it was a little nickle size swirl. Will definitely get this again! And the 10 pieces are huge! And the cucumber was super crisp! Yummo. I did need more soy sauce one pack wasn't enough, but no biggie, I had more.

I live in an area without sushi but I love shrimp tempura rolls so these were a great treat. It was nice to take home and have them for a few days. For a grocery store these were really good, I will definitely purchase again on my next visit. There was a bit too much sauce for my taste but it was easy to take some off and enjoy.

I bought this and the California rolls today. This was so dry , the rice was ver hard. I bought it for the shrimp.. can’t even find or taste the shrimp. Sam’s use to make their own in club sushi’s and it was much better than this brand. This was a total waste. It’s just a nooo for this one.

Labeled Shrimp Tempura and there was no shrimp in it. It was actually just imitation crab, and it wasn't good. Had no flavor. Very disappointing.

Can't believe sushi is only good for ONE day, but taste better on the second/third day. I will definitely be telling ALL my fam & friends about this unique find.

I guess it depends on your location. In Beckley WV we just got the sushi bar and I love it. It’s better than Kroger’s! Mine was still crispy and tastes fresh. For sure worth a try!
