I purchased $300 worth in gift cards to use for my daughter's upcoming 3 Y.O. bday party at Main Event as I had read other reviewers did. Upon scheduling party, I was informed by Main Event that gift cards are not valid for anything that would require a contract, i.e. reserved parties or any food included in party packages. 

So I feel like I wasted money, because I don't think gift cards are returnable to Sam's and I never intended to be a frequent visitor of Main Event with my 3 Y.O. daughter. For me, the purchase was truly for the party. Note, I still reserved party as intended - I just paid out of pocket.
