My husband and I love this coffee! A cup of this coffee in the front room while appreciating the view is the perfect way to ease into the day.

Luna Dark Roast is wonderful coffee. I love the rich flavor & that it's organic. The price for such a tasty coffee is quite good, too.

Everyone has different taste and won't like the same coffee as me, but to me, these are my favorite beans. Fairly darkly roasted, but without burnt tones. This is full of strong flavor and the description provided by the maker is very accurate - smoky, rich dark cocoa. I use it in my semi-auto espresso machine set to a fairly fine ground. Only complaint is that as a big club store, Sam's brings in too much at once. They're still selling bags with the same roasted on date months later. Although the packaging preserves the beans very well, it would still be nice to have a fresher roast.

I bought this hoping that it would replace Luna Dark Side (since Dark Side's only offered as ground coffee now and tastes stale). This coffee's bitter...there's nothing smooth about it...no matter how strong or weak that you make it. It's a "cheap" version of their other coffees. I rated it 2 stars instead of 1, because it was freshly roasted. I guess I'll go back to drinking Christopher Bean coffee (which isn't offered through Sam's Club).
