To oily for me and the coffee taste is slightly burnt. I'm not a fan of this one.

Just got my first bag, it’s not true Dark Roast as stated, it’s more medium to Dark and I know because that’s all I use

I bought this hoping that it would replace Luna Dark Side (since Dark Side's only offered as ground coffee now and tastes stale). This coffee's bitter...there's nothing smooth about it...no matter how strong or weak that you make it. It's a "cheap" version of their other coffees. I rated it 2 stars instead of 1, because it was freshly roasted. I guess I'll go back to drinking Christopher Bean coffee (which isn't offered through Sam's Club).

Everyone has different taste and won't like the same coffee as me, but to me, these are my favorite beans. Fairly darkly roasted, but without burnt tones. This is full of strong flavor and the description provided by the maker is very accurate - smoky, rich dark cocoa. I use it in my semi-auto espresso machine set to a fairly fine ground. Only complaint is that as a big club store, Sam's brings in too much at once. They're still selling bags with the same roasted on date months later. Although the packaging preserves the beans very well, it would still be nice to have a fresher roast.

Hardly any coffee flavor

This coffee has a wonderful flavor and does not irritate my ulcers or sensitive system. I have recommended it to numerous friends and family.

We have been purchasing this coffee for a while now. It's one is the best coffees we've had. Better than buying Starbucks or dunkin. It's strong and bold. It's cheaper too than buying coffee at coffee shops.

The coffee is wonderful, however, shipping at this time is non existent. I've ordered this coffee twice, once on January 13 and again a week ago. No communication from Sams - coffee is still being listed as available for shipping. The problem is, they don't ship!

We like having this blend in our rotation, it's bold and flavorful and excellent value all around. Cool packaging as well!
