Good salt level and a peppery taste. -good beef flavor -no sugar added. Too many beef sticks are sweet and I don't like that. This one was not sweet. The cons: -the texture was too processed and a little mealy. -There was a very greasy film left in my mouth afterwards. Overall, I liked them.

I've been looking for something else to take with me when I go hiking. When I was trying these Country Archer Beef Jerky Sticks, I was pleasantly surprised. They taste delicious and they are very healthy. Now these are my go-to snack when I go hiking. And only when I run out of these beef jerky sticks do I eat my protein bars and trail mix.

I like that it's a good source of protein and a quick snack on the go when I'm feeling hungry. Low calorie snack for those that are carb and calorie cautious.

They don't have any funny after tastes like some other brands, they are the right consistency and the size is perfect for snacking.

I also enjoyed the fact that it was grass-feed beef and gluten and sugar free. They are a good snack size you can toss in your bag on the go as a quick snack. The texture was great too. My only "complaint" is I personally would've liked more flavor options other than the original like garlic or teriyaki (which is available in jerky pieces option).
