Neither complained that they were "too spicy" and my daughter really enjoyed the flavor. I would certainly purchase these as a snack staple in my family. Definitely a different feel than typical beef jerky sticks. Packaging was easier than typical beef sticks to open as well. Overall enjoyable and easy to eat.
