[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went to the store several times to get the Archer Beef Sticks before I found there were two packages left. I finally got the product. I like product which was the original. I like it because it is made of natural ingredients and 100% beef, no other additives and individually wrapped for freshness.. I do miss the flavoring that other beef jerky has, this stick taste a little plain. The stick was very soft and easy to chew. It would be very great for children. I think adults would like it to be a little harder and it to have a chew to it. I would like to buy these sticks if they had add flavor to the sticks. I would recommend these sticks to families with children or older adults who cannot chew the hard jerky.

However, this version tastes excellent! I don't taste that strange aftertaste many Slim Jim based products have and it's not overly salty. Highly suggest packing these on a hiking trip or bringing them along for an emergency snack.

I don't always crave something sweet, and chips and crackers don't always do the trick. The mini portion size is great because it limits me from opening wrapper after wrapper. The taste is delicious and well rounded; I can taste the freshness of the product. This is going to be a new staple in my pantry!
