I loved these and I got them multiple times a month. But the last couple bags they weren't sealed and the sticks were a light greyish color and rancid.

We got these today in Tyler, Texas and half the bag was a different color - light brown- and smelled & tasted bad. The normal colored ones tasted fine though. Just sad that half the bag is not fit to eat

I don't know how these Could taste dry and greasy at the same time but they did. They have an offputting fatty taste that was not good. They don't taste fresh and they don't look fresh. I could not eat them.

Much too spicy for my taste buds! This was my 1st time trying them. They had my mouth of fire. There's no mention of the spicy flavors. On the packaging.

I used to buy these all the time and they were so good. Now that they have changed the packaging and I believe the formula of the actual product they are not as good. The new packaging is very “vacuum sealed” allowing air in the packaging. The actual meat stick is now smaller and lighter in color and more greasy. Some of the sticks are even a lighter color where they look bad.

They upgraded the packaging and downgraded the content. I'm not a huge fan of beef sticks but I buy these for my son and I used to be able to eat them as well. They now have a very odd, greasy soft texture. My son doesn't care for them either anymore. What a shame that they changed. This was one of very few protein snacks that he could enjoy.

Had these for the 1st time this past weekend, 8-30-2025!! I want to find & buy some for me and my girlfriend’s husband, who eats Slim Jim’s all the time!! I think Archer’s taste better !! And I could eat yours easier, outer casing is not as tough as the other brand !! Thanks!!

i bought these figuring they would just end up in the trash bc so manh other brands i tried were terrible. to my surprise they were pretty dang good. if your looking for a healthier go to to replace the regular slim jims these are definitely pretty close in taste without the guilt. these are gonna be a great snack in between meals. im excited to have found these and super glad i took the chance and bought them. most definitely will be buying more.

We used to love these but the last 2 full containers (one bought from Sams and one bought elsewhere) had multiple sticks that had lost their vacuum and were off color - some even green and moldy. I took photos of the still sealed sticks, the bag, upc, etc. and sent them to Archer. They replied once saying to take them back to the store. I told them they were delivery and I am immobile and then they went silent. I have messaged them 3 times and nobody cares. I would not buy again.

Used to love these, however the last few bags I've bought have been horrible. First two bags the meat was nearly grey, but smelt okay, and tasted fine, so I figured it was okay. Wrong.. mold on most of the sticks. The last two bags I purchased the bags contained mold again. As much as I used to love these, I will not be purchasing again. $15 a bag is too expensive when you have to throw the entire bag away.
