Hubby love these

I needed a decent protein to add to my snack routine. These would have been good. Unfortunately, these ended up giving me the icks after 2 of them had unsealed packages so they molded. I almost took a bite when I noticed the white residue and I looked closer and noticed the color was grayish. They are too expensive to waste. But now I wonder if I ate a bad one. Just check your package. They're a great option but not for me anymore.

The size of these meat sticks were too small for the stupid high price they wanted more than a year ago when I started buying them. Now, the most recent bag I purchased has inconsistent stick sizes with most being smaller than they used to be. Food companies are ripping off consumers by keeping the package size and price the same and reducing the amount of food in the package. The only way the consumer can combat this is to leave their products sitting on the shelves and search for alternatives. Maybe this is why Sams Club has them on sale this month.

We purchase these regularly, and recently, a packing change was made. When I looked at the meat sticks I thought they looked smaller than the ones in our previous purchase. My husband happened to have some left over and we compared the old to the new. Sure enough, they are smaller and yet, we're paying the same price. If your money and morals matter to you, you won't purchase from a company who takes advantage of their consumers. They've lost our business, for sure. I have photos but it seems I can't post them on this review, sadly.

These used to be great. I have purchased these from Sam’s many times. The last two bags had some off color beef sticks. They were bad. I contacted Country Archer through their website and explained this and offered to send the bad product to them. I also included the date code on the package. They emailed me back and said “How can we help you today?” I responded that they sold me some bad beef sticks and asked again if they would like me to mail them to them. It’s been over a month and no response. Now I see on Sam’s reviews that this has been a problem for some time now. It seems they already knew about this. Why is Sam’s Club still offering these for sale. In the future I will stay away from any Country Archer products.

We used to trust this brand, but this batch was nasty and has turned us off for good. Although marked with a good until date of 5/24/2026, many are off colored and look to be turning bad. The worst looking one was rotten and very foul smelling. We can't force ourselves to eat any of them. They are going into the trash.

I love these. I was a bit leery at first because they sounded healthy.

These are a bit spicy and I was not expecting that. The flavour is very good though.
