However, this version tastes excellent! I don't taste that strange aftertaste many Slim Jim based products have and it's not overly salty. Highly suggest packing these on a hiking trip or bringing them along for an emergency snack.

I'm not a huge fan of meat sticks, but need something that is low/no sugar and has protein. If these sticks were a little bit thinner they'd be perfect.

I liked the size of them they weren't the super long sticks and I like that they are the right thinness and my kids liked them maybe more than I did.
