We've been buying these for a few years. They were great, actually had real meat, and tasted like real beef snack sticks you'd get from a butcher. Recently they went out of stock everywhere, and were gone for a few months. They just came back, and it appears they've completely replaced the product with a disgusting meat paste tube in an awful paper-like wrapper. The meat texture is completely gone, and replaced with a dry, greasy packed meat muck. I don't know if they were trying to use fat to glue the sticks to the wrapper, but there are thick glops of cold fat randomly smeared in chunks under the wrapper. They taste horrid, like a combination of dog food, blood, and melted plastic. Do not rely on any review older than a few weeks, because this product is nothing at all like the previous one.

While the meat in the stick is beef, the casing is pork. So if you truly want and ALL BEEF stick, this one isn't for you. I buy these for my dog; I cut them into sections, and they are the best training treats ever. And she doesn't care if the casing is pork!

While I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. They do taste good. 2 out of the first 3 sticks had rather large pieces of bone in them and I almost cracked my tooth. I understand that can happen during the manufacturing process, but I won't be buying them again
