I’m So Very Disappointed! Maybe I’d Better Come Inside To Pick My Own Fruits Out. Curbside This Was A Big Fail For My Grandkids!!!

Over ripe. They were super soft by day 2. It’s second time it’s happened because I ordered curbside. The people picking it could care less and it shows. 3rd straight time my curbside didn’t choose properly.

Sam's Club Bartlett pears were very tasty. They had been ripened to perfection and were sweet and juicy, reminding me of the heirloom pears with which my Aunts made pear honey years ago. Hope my next purchase of them is just as satisfying.

The Bartlett pears that Sams used to sell are better. They came in a bag and were not exposed to the hot humid air in the club. These pears now in the open carton are already over ripe when you take them home. You have a day to eat these pears then they spoil. A wasted purchase!!

All of the pears were firm and nice looking. When I cut open the first one it was fine and nearly ripe. The rest were a 50/50 chance of being okay or having a brown rotten core. This was true even though the outsides still looked okay. I could not tell from the outside of the pear or squeezing it if it was going to be a good one or a bad one. I cut them all open. On those which were rotted, the rot itself had spread to about 2/3 of the flesh which made them unusable. We ended up throwing about half of the pears away due to the rot. I would not recommend this product.

Delicious and juicy and very flavorful. I usually steam half of them while they're firm for my toddler, they taste like poached pears when steamed without the added sugar. The other half rippen on the counter and we eat them as is. They're better than the Harry and David pears that my family sends us every Christmas.

Orderd these for my children because they love fresh pears. I'm not sure who did the shopping for my delivery order but they actually picked up a batch of rotten pears to be delivered to my home. We had to throw out the entire batch! We couldn't eat any of them. If you looked closely each pear had little open brown holes on their surfaces. Not sure what the issue was because I order fresh fruit and vegetables regulary from Sams. This was the first time that this has ever happened.

These pears are delicious, but within a couple days of buying them, nearly half had to be thrown away. They looked and smelled great, but quickly began turning brown and the insides had begun to rot. They were immediately stored in my refrigerator after buying. With groceries being so expensive, this was disappointing.

The pears that were out for sale were soft and rubbery I did not purchase them on my last visit they looked as if they had been sitting there for a Long time some were over ripe in the past though the pears have been wonderful slightly green ripen them at home very sweet and delicious
