This is our 4th set of KOs on the 2003 F150 Supercrew. We run this truck all over town, across country in winter ski trips, Snow/Ice conditions are excellent, In the Desert off road and at least 3 times a year in the High Sierra on Jeep trails. (difficult trails with a full load of dirtbikes onboard) The truck just turned 245,000 miles so counting the inferior stock tires at 40,000mi the rest are getting us OVER 50,000 miles. Road noise is minimal for an AT tire. Do not buy the load C unless all you do is drive roads. (extra ply on sidewalls are a must in the rocky back country) The KO2 design and load E rating are the best both for sidewall protection when aired down on the jeep trails and the sipping slots in the tread design are superior for blasting through snow drifts, icy road travel and crossing rivers, sand, mud etc. All around the best value and worth the price.

Purchased a set of these tires 2 years ago...put close to 30,000 miles on them and they started slipping and sliding in curves when damp and squawking on dry roads doing normal limit speeds. The tires had been great up until this point. The tread was still somewhat deep and wear was even across it on all tires it just seemed the tire got hard and stopped gripping the road as good. Needles to say I was not happy and would expect to get at least 40,000+ as I did on several previous K0 sets I have purchased over the years. I just traded my truck in on a new truck but I was definitely wondering if the tire was going to last through the winter or if I was going to have to replace them with plenty of tread on them. I will be shopping for tires again in a matter of time and will definitely consider several other brands now. Not so sure the K02 version stands up to its hype.

Purchased these tires for my 2012 2500HD after lots of research and spent a decent chunk of money on them because I figured they would last a long time. I was wrong. Before these I had Federal Couragia M/T's that were the same size (35x12.5R18) and they lasted 2.5 years. Overall they're great tires. Excellent traction in mud and I was looking forward to testing them in the snow this year. They're just not meant for 3/4 tons, despite their E load rating. I've only put 4,000 miles on them and the rear tires have been chunking out and worn down significantly more than the front. I don't drive on gravel roads. I don't accelerate hard/quickly. I only drive asphalt and dirt. No steep grades. No spinning of the tires. No towing. The heaviest thing these tires have experienced besides the weight of the truck is 12 bales of hay and a buck. Definitely not enough weight or time to warrant this kind of wear. I don't know if I just got a bad batch with soft rubber or something, but I was very disappointed as one of the selling points on the KO2, is longer tread life. I don't foresee them lasting as long as they would on maybe a Jeep or a 1/2 ton. Took the truck in yesterday to Walmart to have the tires rotated (where I bought and had the tires put on) and the service manager said he'd never seen anything like the wear that he's seeing. They're wearing insanely quick for only having 4,000 miles on them. Bottom line is, KO2's are great but they can't handle the weight.

I will never buy a set of these tires again. Within six months of getting these tires they started to go bald. Had them rotated several times to keep an even tread and they still went slick. The old BFG's are a better tire but I don't think I want to even go back to those after this experience.

I first encountered the KO fitted new to a 1989 Nissan Safari 4x4 fresh off the boat as a used Japanese import in 1999. 290,000 km later I am on my 3rd set of KOs. Also I am running them on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have never been stuck in mud or snow and have only ever had one puncture. The wear is amazing, 80 to 100,000 km from new down to 3mm tread depth. I find them a quiet running tyre but they do get a bit noisy when the tread wears down below 5-6mm. In short, I love 'em! I can't justify using Mud Terrains because I seldom require anything that aggressive. I'm just a bit annoyed that I can't get a set of KOs in 225-60R18 for my wife's 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Operating conditions: Safari: 265-75R16 on 8" rims. (Australian Spec)* Jeep: 255-70R16 on standard rims (Standard Spec) * Note: Australian spec actually specifies 265-70 section. I just bought these after debating from alot of different brands . The appearance of my truck looks wicked now and rides very smooth , just drive on my loose gravel driveway and never slipped . I hope they do good in rain and snow and ice, and hopefully lasts a long time on my ram 1500 that i pull occasionally with a toyhauler .

I have had BFG's on just about everything ive owned! I own a 2010 Chevy 2500HD and bought the KO2 for it. They have about 8,000 miles on them and they are half gone! Frontend is alighed they are just wearing fast. Disappointed. They were my favorite tire.

I'm on my third set of these. I absolutely love them. My truck was t-boned yesterday at 40mph. My tire took some damage but I was still able to get my family home safe. Thank you for making such a great tire. I also spend a lot of time in the mountains and high desert. I've never had an issue.

I have run these tires on wet streets, dry streets, mud and sandy beaches. They grip on everything and make very little noise at highway speed. I was concerned about wet roads but these tires have yet to break loose on puddles or flooded roads. They work well for me.

I have had KO2s on full size 4WD trucks and I now run them on my new Subaru Outback Wilderness. They are a bit heavier and more noisy but that's to be expected. I have had these across sand dunes (deflated), deep mud, rock and in deep snow and they just can't be beat! I've read a couple state that they dry and crack but I've never had an issue in that regards. I highly recommend them.
