Selling spoiled/old clementines!

Ive been purchasing the cutie clementines fror quite a while now, the quality is really bad now. They are mixing bad/old clementines and selling them. I have seen molded clementine in the bags, so I search through bags trying to find the best ones, to no avail, I get home and they just age at way different rates and I throw away the bulk of the bag. One thing I have learned in life, i guess you are waiting for someone to get sick, only then will you stop selling garbage old food.

Cuties!!!!

These are absolutely divine! We always get the same fruit and wanted to try something different than our norm. These are sweet, juicy and easy to peel. Instead of reaching for midnight sweets, I just grab one (or two) of these. I was skeptical allowing my son to peel his own at first but he had no problems (he's 3 years old). The bag we have was ordered with Click N' Pull. My suggestion would be to inspect ALL of your items before paying for them. First, to be sure that everything it says you are paying for is everything that you Actually ordered and is actually in your cart. Second, to make sure everything has a decent expiration date. And finally, to make sure all of your products are up to your standards (i.e. checking for bad produce, bent containers, etc.)

Rotting Fruit

5 Clementines in a 5 pound bag were moldy. The bag of Mandarins was picked out by an associate as part of my on-line pick-up order. My advice to associates and shoppers is, "look and smell the bag before putting it in the cart". I ended up getting almost 4 pounds of fruit for the price of 5 pounds.

Cuties

Our club sometimes stocks Halos, which are usually excellent. Now, they stock Cuties which were absolutely Flavorless. Absolutely terrible. More flavor in a wet paper towel. If you see Cuties for sale at your club, avoid all temptation to buy them. If you do buy them, get some orange drink mix, cut the top and bottom of the mandarin oranges off and soak them in orange drink mix for a couple weeks. About the only chance these will taste even remotely orange.

rotten

The tangerines came and Could not eat them. Some were so rotten that almost hollowed out from the inside. I know Sam’s would refund me if I took them back but I’m not able to take them back as I’m sick. That’s why I paid $18 extra to have fruits delivered to me. Now I can’t eat them

Rotten and Mushy

Shame on you, Sam's. The last couple of times I've bought these, half the bag is either mushy, an odd greenish color, or both. The first time I thought maybe it was just an unlucky draw. The second time I realized it's poor quality control on Sam's behalf. It's very frustrating to spend over $8.00 on something that's inedible, especially in this economy. I'll be purchasing these somewhere else from now on.

Very Disappointed

I have shopped at Sam's for years and years and have never been disappointed with any of my purchases until now. I purchased these mandarins and literally half of them had to be thrown away because they were either already split open and rotten, or they had white mold growing on them. Very disappointed!

It's a crap shoot

Half the time you get a bad bag they're dried out and some of them are actually rotten inside and then other times you get the best halos I don't understand it. I could tell first thing when I grab one out of a bag if they're leathery and don't feel fresh.

Often bitter

The past 2 packs I bought of these had a lot of bitter ones. I bought the second bag because I thought the first bag with some bitter ones was just a one off. Discussions with friends makes it sound like this is common at Sam's but not the local groceries.

Molded within 5 days

Searched for bag of good oranges, however many bags already contained very soft of molded oranges. Though i snagged a pretty good bags after searcing. Got home and had to throw out 4 oranges as they had meldew, checked the rest of the oranges but to my supeise 4 days in and already have several more mussy and oranges starting to mold. 4 more lost and we eat a few daily no more left 8 trashed back to buy more.
