Bad fruit

Honestly I don't like trusting employees to pick my fruit out or veggies. This is the second time I've had them pick my fruit out and it was bad so I'm done buying fruit unless I can pick it out.

It's a crap shoot

Half the time you get a bad bag they're dried out and some of them are actually rotten inside and then other times you get the best halos I don't understand it. I could tell first thing when I grab one out of a bag if they're leathery and don't feel fresh.

Oranges vary

About half the time I order these they are good to great. The other half the time they are fair to bad. About 2 weeks ago I received a bag that was great, only had 1 rotten one. A week ago I picked up another bag and all but about 12 were rotten, 1 was liquid like and leaking pretty bad.

Molded within 5 days

Searched for bag of good oranges, however many bags already contained very soft of molded oranges. Though i snagged a pretty good bags after searcing. Got home and had to throw out 4 oranges as they had meldew, checked the rest of the oranges but to my supeise 4 days in and already have several more mussy and oranges starting to mold. 4 more lost and we eat a few daily no more left 8 trashed back to buy more.

Very Disappointed

I have shopped at Sam's for years and years and have never been disappointed with any of my purchases until now. I purchased these mandarins and literally half of them had to be thrown away because they were either already split open and rotten, or they had white mold growing on them. Very disappointed!

Not as fresh as I expected

The first one I ate was a bit “mushy”. It was okay but was getting close to taking a turn for the worse. Unfortunately, this was true for the entire bag. Within a few days, the skin began to turn dry and discolored. I finally threw them away — after 4 days. A bad batch in this timeframe, to be sure.

Waste of money

I purchased a bag of these and when I got them home and out of the bag, they were dried up and like wood inside. Hardly any juice but you couldn't tell that by just trying look through the thick mesh bag. Waste of money. Also bought a container of grapes the same day and when you take the grapes out, there was a bunch of grapes that were all wilted and funky looking but you couldn't see that either because they had fresh looking grapes all around so you couldn't see the bad ones. I lived 70 miles (round trip) away from the closet Sam's Club. Gas is not cheap! I doubt that I will buy any fruit from Sams again.

Cuties

Our club sometimes stocks Halos, which are usually excellent. Now, they stock Cuties which were absolutely Flavorless. Absolutely terrible. More flavor in a wet paper towel. If you see Cuties for sale at your club, avoid all temptation to buy them. If you do buy them, get some orange drink mix, cut the top and bottom of the mandarin oranges off and soak them in orange drink mix for a couple weeks. About the only chance these will taste even remotely orange.

Cuties!!!!

These are absolutely divine! We always get the same fruit and wanted to try something different than our norm. These are sweet, juicy and easy to peel. Instead of reaching for midnight sweets, I just grab one (or two) of these. I was skeptical allowing my son to peel his own at first but he had no problems (he's 3 years old). The bag we have was ordered with Click N' Pull. My suggestion would be to inspect ALL of your items before paying for them. First, to be sure that everything it says you are paying for is everything that you Actually ordered and is actually in your cart. Second, to make sure everything has a decent expiration date. And finally, to make sure all of your products are up to your standards (i.e. checking for bad produce, bent containers, etc.)

Rotten and Mushy

Shame on you, Sam's. The last couple of times I've bought these, half the bag is either mushy, an odd greenish color, or both. The first time I thought maybe it was just an unlucky draw. The second time I realized it's poor quality control on Sam's behalf. It's very frustrating to spend over $8.00 on something that's inedible, especially in this economy. I'll be purchasing these somewhere else from now on.
