Terrible Tires with Uneven Wear and Low Mileage

I bought a Jeep Rubicon 8/22/18 with Goodrich All Terrain KO2 tires. The tires are rotated at the dealership and alignments completed twice, Dec 2019 and again Sep 2020. There is terrible uneven wear on the tires and I have not been off road. Jeep Dealership says the vehicle is aligned to specs and they blame the Goodrich tires as the jeep is still pulling to the right after a realignment in Sep 2020. The jeep is hard to drive with it pulling to the right most of the time. These tires are NOT meeting performance specs.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, KVBeach. We would recommend getting a tire inspection at an authorized dealer. Please have the dealer contact us at 866-866-6605 to report their findings.

loved the old TA K/O's but not the new TA K/O2's

Over the years I've probably had 10 or 12 sets of BFG's on my various trucks. Figuring that I drive a lot (the present truck has 318,000 miles) I found that I could get 40,000 - 50,000 miles per set with the BFG TA K/O's. Imagine my surprise when I checked and found that the worn out set currently on my Dodge Ram 2500 only have 28,000 miles. After talking to several dealers I found out that the new TA K/O2's aren't lasting. Guess it's time to look elsewhere for my new tires. Sorry BFG but you shouldn't have changed a good thing.

NO MILEAGE WARRANTY

These are beter than past BFG A/T's. The treadwear is still rather rapid compared to commercial L/T tires from Michelin. They still DO NOT HAVE A TREADWEAR MILEAGE WARRANTY. So if they wear our in 30,000 miles, TOUGH LUCK! The tread pattern is quiet. In snow, mud, wet grass they have better than average traction. Best for users that off-road frequenty - farmers, ranchers, hunters or snow belt. Next time, I'll buy these for my WINTER TIRES, and keep the Michelins as the dry highway shoes.

BFG AT/KO's

I have waited a little over a year for my other tires to finally wear out so I could finally buy the tires I have wanted for a while, the BFG KO's. It is now at the 16th of December , I have had them about 2 weeks and 2K miles later and all I can say is that these tires are awesome. I actually believe I am getting better gas mileage with them than other tires I have had on this truck or my other truck. I bought these tires because they have more tread than others and I drive a lot. Yes they are a more aggressive tire but now I can feel that my tires are actually on the ground. I am running them at 45lbs Today alone I put another 280 miles on my truck and used only about 3/8 of a tank of gas. This is rural areas of stop and go, speed limits of 35,45, and 55 and 70+ of highway driving. I love these tires. Even though I am not use to having such an aggressive tire , there is a big difference in the handling and its just something I will have to get use to. And from what I understand these will last me for awhile. All it has to do now is snow...4 wheeling and drifting ..cant wait.

Best All Terrain Tires on the planet!

BFG has done it again. This tire is simply amazing. I recently purchased a new set of BFG A/T K/O 2's to replace my original set of BFG A/T that I've had for the last 7 years (lasted about 80k to 85k miles) The K/O 2's are simply amazing; extremely quiet and nimble for an all terrain tire. Much better than the previous BFG A/T K/O's - which was a great tire in its own. PROs: Quiet, Smooth ride, Handling, Aggressive Looks Cons: Cost... but if these tires last as long as my last set then they are well worth it!!!

Great off road traction

These came on my new JL Rubicon. Just came back from Moab-awesome fraction on the trails. Barely needed the lockers. Did cut them up pretty bad, chunks knocked out, gave them heck on the obsticalls. Over 50% ware in only 5000 miles, but all miles are off road & super tough trails on 16 psi. They hook up like super glue. Did more than I expected.Go anyware-period.

Amazing AT tires!

These are some serious All-Terrain tires! They're really the best of "all worlds". I spend most of the time on pavement and they handle the road like street tires. I like the way M/T tires look but hate the way MT's handle on road. These AT's have a real nice aggressive stance. My concerns with E Rated tires is that they would be too hard for every day use. I run these at 35 psi and they are not too firm for the road. I love the fact that these are also snow rated - This signifies that these tires have been tested for packed snow. MT's gather the packed snow around the nobs and you have poor traction. The KO2's are tried and true! I'll stick with them.

Unsafe on wet roads

I purchased these tires three years ago and have about 30,000 miles on them now. For the last year I have noticed that these tires are unsafe on anymore this road condition. If I need to stop or take off after any amount of rain the tires skip in lose traction. For any amount of money, I would not recommend these tires for a lightweight truck

BFG ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2

I had a set of the original KO T/A's on my 2011 Ford F250 6.7L diesel. I tow a 12,000lb trailer behind the truck about 80% of the time for work. I rotated my tires like clockwork every 5,000 miles (with each oil change). The tires road quiet and wore evenly. I got 66,000 miles out of them. I now have the new KO2's installed. They have even better off road handling and I'm on target to get 75,000-80,000 miles out of them. They are a GREAT tire! Dry pavement long hauling, in rain and off road... I have NO complaints. They are my ONLY tire of choice.

BFG ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2

I also forgot to mention on my first review, that my truck is not lifted. I am running air bags in the rear only to help with leveling the truck when the trailer is attached. I noticed that odometer/speedometer, stock from Ford, were off a little. So after plowing through the stock Conti's at 275/70R18 (50,000 miles), that's when I upgraded to the ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO and eventually the ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO 2 at 305/65R18. This not only corrected the odometer/speedometer, but also gave me a more confident ride.
