The Members Mark light string cheese is the product I sampled. It had a delicious mozzarella flavor and did not taste light at all. Excellent healthy snack option, especially for the price and quantity, and a great value. "Sam's" size package so it actually lasts more than one school week. My kids laugh at ** when they catch ** "stealing" one. Plus, I can make homemade fried cheesesticks during football season.

Even though this string cheese is "light" with less fat & fewer calories than regular string cheese I couldn't tell it by the taste. If you like string cheese...you'll like this! It's not packed with a lot of flavor but it is an easy low calorie snack. Each serving has a good bit of protein to help achieve that "full" feeling. Though, I was a little surprised by the amount of sodium each serving has, nothing over the top but I'd say enough for a snack. It smelled fresh. I am on Weight Watchers and this was only one point per stick which makes for a great snack.

Yuck, yuck, yuck!!!!! I have purchased these in the past and they’re fine— clearly “light” so not as delicious as the regular kind but this batch (exp May 2023) is BAD NEWS! My kids opened the first couple sticks and I had to keep nagging them to finish. Then I bit into one and literally gagged on the first bite. I can’t believe I made them eat these! Moldy nasty taste, despite looking (and even smelling?!?) just fine and not expiring for 2 more months. I tried a second one to make sure it wasn’t something else in my mouth… nearly vomited. Inedible and I want my money back!
