Tastes like dirt! Some off them are fine but others taste like dirt and I immediately have to spit it out when this happens. Wish the flavor could be more consistent. I will be spending more on better brands from now. Glad to see from reading the comments that it’s not just me experiencing the “dirt” flavor and that this seems to be a problem for others as well. Sam’s club-do better!

How are these passing quality control? I’ve bought two bags of these hoping the first bag was a fluke. Nope. The second bag was worse. You’ll get a stick every other year that tastes 100% like mold but will look completely fine. Please get this issue solved

Listen to all the reviews! Bought these beginning of February, and they were awful. Taste funny, not like cheese at all. Thought it was just me until I saw all the reviews around the same time saying the same thing. Returning, cannot even get through stick #2.

If you like grainy cheese then this cheese is for you. For me...I like smooth cheese. Sams used to carry Sargento Light string cheese and it was great but they don't carry it anymore. They also don't carry Babybel light anymore either......very disappointing because it's a great cheese.

Can’t beat the price

The string cheese had a good consistency, easy to pull apart which my granddaughter loves to do when she eats string cheese. It tastes great, particularly for a “light” string cheese. It is not quite as creamy as regular string cheese but that is to be expected. Fewer calories but still tastes great!

I buy this cheese all the time and usually love it. Like some other recent reviews, I noticed something was off with the taste of the last pack I bought. Tasted like it had gone bad/moldy, but it was well within the expiration date. There was no visible mold on the cheese. Ended up throwing the whole thing away.

Usually members mark are a decent substitute for a lower price, but these are terrible. They have a funky aftertaste , and don’t pull apart like string cheese. Bring back sargento, these aren’t even a worthy substitute if they were half the price.
