Disappointed with the grind. It is like espresso. I did not see any reference to the grind type in the product’s description. There is nothing wrong with espresso if that is what you are looking for but I was making pour over. The package states Bistro but I don’t think that is synonymous with espresso.

I’ve been buying this coffee for about 3 years and am so happy that Sam’s Club continues to carry it! It’s great tasting coffee for an excellent price. At work, we have an assortment of complimentary coffee (k-cups), yet I prefer bringing to work a travel cup of my Seattle’s Best. I simply prefer it over the rest! I am especially thrilled to know that although my local (closest) Sam’s Club store closed its doors, I can enjoy this wonderful member benefit of having it shipped to my home every month! Bravo!!!

We have been drinking Seattle's Best for a couple of years now. The flavor is consistent and never grows old. Not too strong; just right for us. Just wish Sam's sold the the coffee in smaller bags. My wife and I drink just one cup a day; it takes awhile to go through 32 oz. Highly recommend.

We have been using this brand and flavor for several years! It is great alone or also enhances other brand we use when combined! We love stronger, fuller flavored coffee. 4 scoops Maxwell House, French Roast and 1 scoop Seattle’s Best, #4 for a 10-12 cup pot. So good!

This is our favorite brand of coffee. #4 is a strong coffee, but very tasty. For some reason it is difficult to find it at our local stores. Ordering it from Sam’s made it a simple solution. It was also delivered a day before which was perfect since we were out of coffee!

With two children that worked at one of the world's most famous coffee chains for a number of years, I think we are pretty well qualified as coffee aficionados. This is a great tasting coffee at a reasonable price. It will hold up to any competitor with its rich and robust flavor. If you've never tried this brand give it a shot. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

This is not what I expected at all. I bought it because it was offered as an alternative to the Member's Mark Premium Coffee, which I've loved. That coffee was rich, smooth and easy to brew with a consistent flavor. This one is anything but. I'm trying to find someone who doesn't mind the taste and will take the remaining bag and a half.

I'm not a connoisseur, so take what I say in the context of an average dude. I like the Members Mark canned coffee as a reference point, but this is notably nicer, on a par with S-bucks products, IMO. For what it's worth, they give it a very fine grind, which may leak grounds through larger filters or presses. Recommended if you like a smooth, dark brew.

This is a strong brew. Flavor was much stronger than my usual Community House dark, maybe due to the very fine grind. Took a few pots before got it right. Only problem is with the fine grind the filter clogs up which causes an overflow when making a full pot resulting in grounds in the pot.

This is really an excellent dark roast coffee, especially at a very moderate price! For comparison, I would put the 6th Ave Bistro roast between Starbucks' Caffe Verona and French Roast. For my personal tastes, it's a bit too dark, but I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth and full bodied it was without bitterness.
