I absolutely loved the scent when i opened the package, but my main concern was how it would hold up to the garbage. When i went to take the garbage out the other day, I was pleasantly surprised on how the bag held up. I really liked the way the bag streched but did not tear when it was full or being emptied from the trash can. The variety I tried was the Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bags. The scent was a bit overpowering when opened but it faded to a more tolerable level one opened and placed in the can. I could smell the trash bag for a few days and the scent seemed to fade away. However, when I lifted the bag from the can, i could smell the scent once again.
