i bought these bags 9 months ago, but did not need to open the box until 2 months ago. i was surprised that they are 'black' or dark color, but that isnt an issue. the smell of these bags is horrible! i thought the trash bin was dirty so i washed it. then it dawned on me the extra few bags i put in the can to use when removing a bag were the source of the smell. its like getting a ready made garbage scented bag right out of the box. i wish i opened these earlier so that i could find this out and return them. i normally use glad febreeze scent kitchen bags, but not lavender, until this box. i love lavender, but not this particular scent. i am taking trash out more frequently just to use these up. yuk. if this is what mediterranean lavender really smells like remind me not to go there ever. P-U

These bags used to be the best quality. Now, they are always ripping. Trying to take the bag out of the can causes rips either at the top of the liner or the plastic string will rip open. It’s very frustrating needing to double bag all of my trash due to the poor quality of the bags. Save yourself some money and just buy the member’s mark brand.

These bags are super thin and have little holes in them. Also some of them the tops pull right off.
