The bags are strong and the odor shield is great really keeps the smells down. My wife and I don't generate a lot of trash, so a bag can stay in the can for a few days before it's full and we've noticed a big improvement in the smells.

The Force Flex Plus kitchen bags we purchased are not good. Every bag tears around the top when we pull them out of the trash can. Very disappointed in the quality of these bags!!!
