As far as the scent it is light and doesn’t last very long which is ok. I don’t expect the scent to last very long. But I love the bag and will repurchase.

I tried out the Glad Forceflex Lavender Gain scented drawstring kitchen trash bags. These are the absolute best and the scent lasts! They are very durable and will not rip or tear. They're stretchy and can withstand alot of weight. I recommend these to everyone

We take the trash out once a week, and sometimes it develops an odor before we do. Not his time - this trash bag has a strong pleasant fragrance which masks any odors. I really don't like the scented bags that are supposed to help with smelly trash. These unscented Glad bags helped with the odors without that strong scented smell. I received the Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag and it was perfect for my kitchen. The scent was not overwhelming but provided a nice aroma to cover what was being thrown out. We empty our trash daily. We put a pizza box in the bag that stretched it out and it didn't rip or tear! That is what sold me. I finished emptying out leftovers from the fridge and this bag held it all. I ordered my box right after that. Needless to say I recommend Glad and the lavender scent for sure.
