I learned a long time ago that spending a little extra on the name brand saves heartache without a drastic effect on my budget. I prefer the drawstring bags to the flapped ear bags, so these are right up my alley.

To me it is very important that my kitchen trash bags do not leak because my kids throw liquids in the trash and these bags prevent this with an outer leak protection. These bags also have a drawstring that will not rip thanks to the double side seams and reinforced bottom. I highly recommend these pleasant smelling trash bags that are also 25% more durable.

I left it there and waited to use and to my surprise the scent lasted and for only one trash bag I can't imagine have a whole box of this! it made my cabinet smell like this! I bought the "Unscented" version of this product a few months ago. Much to my surprise, they were NOT what I'd consider unscented. In fact, they have a very strong and disagreeable odor. Perhaps, Glad meant that they didn't add any artificial scent to cover up the natural odor from the materials used to make this product. Regardless, I have allergies and cannot be around such strong odors, and I wouldn't want this unpleasant smell stinking up my kitchen. Because I don't want to throw away an expensive product, I've been taking a few bags at a time, opening them up, and hanging them in the garage until this horrible smell dissipates. Given that many other reviewers have reported the same problem, I don't think this was due to a bad batch, so I'm going to switch to a different manufacturer when these run out.
